A call has now been made in the Wisconsin Senate race. Per DDHQ, Republican Ron Johnson will hold onto his seat, eking out a 50.4 percent to 49.6 percent win over Democrat challenger Mandella Barnes, with 92 percent of the vote counted.
The race apparently was just called and we have yet to see a statement from Johnson or Barnes on it, but that’s a solid hold for Republicans and puts them at 49 seats to the Democrats’ 48, with Arizona, Georgia, and Nevada remaining to be called. (Alaska is not yet called either, but will go to a Republican either way.)
