The Sickening Media Clip on the Military and 'Illegal Orders' Folks Are Pointing to After NG Shootings

Trump Derangement Syndrome does bad things to people, something we have unfortunately seen play out on a dangerous level over the last couple of years, in particular, with two assassination attempts against Donald Trump during the 2024 campaign and the repeated violent attacks on ICE agents this year, as just a few of the many examples.

Back in June, President Trump's announcement of sending the National Guard into LA to help quell the anti-ICE rioting and then into D.C. two months later to help combat violent crime brought about a firestorm of criticism from the MSM and the left, the latter of whom launched lawsuits against the Trump administration over some of the orders.

The accusations were fast and furious and, some might say, incendiary. Prospective 2028 Democrat presidential hopefuls like Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker and Gov. Gavin Newsom were among the loudest voices claiming without evidence that Trump's move was a precursor to using the military to help "steal" the 2026 and 2028 elections for the GOP.

In fact, what the "seditious six" undoubtedly were insinuating in the scripted video they released last week was that some of the orders already followed by our military were "illegal orders," in some cases allegedly carried out against American citizens, although publicly, the six members of Congress in the clip have refused or not been able to cite a single example.

With all of that in mind, and with the horrific attacks against two West Virginia National Guard members in D.C. on Wednesday that left the two in critical condition in mind, we turn to an MSNBC segment from Tuesday night that is getting some extra attention.

Watch below as MSNBC anchor Jen Psaki, a former press secretary for Joe Biden, pressed former D.C. Assistant U.S. Attorney Glenn Kirschner on whether there would and should be consequences for members of the armed forces for carrying out an alleged "illegal order." Make sure to take note of the Nazi comparisons:

Psaki and MSNOW amplify the 'Dems will prosecute anyone taking part in the Mark Kelly investigation' intimidation campaign:

Psaki: “What do you think the consequences should be for people who are abiding by following these steps from the Commander In Chief?"

Kirschner: "They're following unlawful commands from Donald Trump. And if you're committing offenses and your defense is going to be 'I was just following orders' — You know, that didn't work out so well at Nuremberg."

“When the rule of law comes back into the light of day, that will have to be tackled. They'll have to be held accountable for those abuses."

To be absolutely clear, the motive for the suspect in the shooting of the two National Guard members is not yet known. But with the thought in mind of what happened in our nation's capital, just steps from the White House, people naturally had thoughts:

Just as a reminder, here's what Sen. Elissa Slotkin (D-MI), one of the lawmakers in the "seditious six" video, said on Sunday:

This was Pritkzer two months ago:

Here's CNN's Wolf Blitzer on Monday, making a "following orders" Nazi comparison to the U.S. military in a back-and-forth with GOP Conference Chairwoman Lisa McClain (MI-09):

BLITZER: Yes, they keep pointing though that during the World War II, these Nazi officers were following the chain of command. They were obeying illegal orders, and they went ahead and slaughtered Jews during the Holocaust, which was clearly illegal. But they were -- at Nuremberg, at the trials of these Nazi generals, they were saying they were simply following the orders. And as a result in the U.S., they don't want military personnel to be doing that.

MCCLAIN: Right. And I think we're a long way from the Nuremberg trials and the slaughtering of Jews. If you want to talk about the slaughtering of Jews, we can have that conversation all the time. It may be for another time with all the rhetoric that's on the other side of the aisle.

Watch:

Again, the motive of the D.C. shooter is not known, but it would shock no one if it's found that he's a radical leftist inspired by the vile rhetoric coming from The Usual Suspects on the left and in the MSM.
