Not quite ten days after Hamas terrorists attacked Israeli civilians, slaughtering over 1,400 during the course of their barbaric rampage, anti-Israel Squad members led by Rep. Cori Bush (D-Mo.) put their calls for an "immediate ceasefire" in the region into resolution form, conveniently leaving out the fact that Hamas instigated the start of the war by deliberately targeting civilians, and also leaving out what a "ceasefire" would mean in reality for Israel.
Since the introduction of the resolution, the Hamas Caucus has attempted to grow its membership numbers from the original 13 by trying to get people to believe there is more support for the resolution in Congress than there actually is.
On Wednesday, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) took to the Twitter machine to proudly boast of the now-expanded "coalition" of Useful Idiots members who are on board with calls for a ceasefire and who signed on to another letter that blamed Israel for the bulk of the violence, alleged "grave violations of children's rights" and which again called on Biden to push for a long "humanitarian pause":
Today we are announcing an expanded coalition of 24 members of Congress pressing the Biden administration for a bilateral ceasefire in Gaza on the basis of grave violations of children’s rights.

Among the new members was Rep. Hank Johnson (D-Ga.), the same Hank Johnson who once openly shared his concerns during a Congressional hearing about the possibility that Guam could tip over due to heavy military presence:
Proud to join my colleges calling for a bilateral ceasefire in Gaza on the basis of grave violations of children's rights. https://t.co/qWj1Q132VJ

What AOC conveniently left out, though, is that there is another statement Johnson is infamous for - the one where he referred to Jews in the West Bank as "termites":
Rep. Hank Johnson (D., Ga.) launched into a tirade against Israel and its policies toward the Palestinians, comparing Jewish people who live in disputed territories to "termites" that destroy homes. Johnson also compared Israeli Defense Minister Avigdor Lieberman to Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump, a remark that drew vocal agreement from those in the room.
"There has been a steady [stream], almost like termites can get into a residence and eat before you know that you’ve been eaten up and you fall in on yourself, there has been settlement activity that has marched forward with impunity and at an ever increasing rate to the point where it has become alarming," Johnson said during an event sponsored by the U.S. Campaign to End the Israeli Occupation, an anti-Israel organization that galvanizes supporters of the Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions movement, or BDS.
Further, AOC also left out the fact that she was among several members of Congress Tuesday to get a look at graphic video of the Hamas carnage - and yet she still firmly stands behind calls for a ceasefire and blaming Israel for what happened:
I didn't get a count but it looked from what I could see through the door like the caucus room was mostly full. So at least 100+. Speaker Johnson was there for a few minutes. Some of the folks who are supporting a ceasefire, like Reps. AOC and Casar, also attended.

AOC continues to tell the people of her Congressional district who she really is. The question is will they finally do the right thing in 2024 by retiring her? As it stands now, she has no primary challengers and a Republican challenger surely would get defeated in the general election.
It's often said that people who vote for candidates who consistently fail them get what they deserve, but in this case when it comes to the Jewish people and the level of antisemitism they are facing here in the U.S. - in New York, especially, they absolutely do not deserve this. At all.
