Bumbling Joe Biden Embarrasses US on World Stage Once Again With Incoherent NATO Speech

As RedState previously reported, President Joe Biden blew off an important dinner with world leaders Tuesday night in Lithuania during the NATO Summit, sending Sec. of State Antony Blinken in his place instead.

When asked why Biden wasn’t attending the dinner, a “US official” told reporters that “the president has had four full days of official business and is preparing for a big speech tomorrow in addition to another day at the summit.”

As we also noted at the time, the claim that Biden “has had four full days of official business” was hogwash considering he didn’t arrive in the UK until Sunday night and was laying out at Rehoboth Beach, relaxing with family and friends on Saturday after a four-day work week due to the July 4th holiday.

But back to the statement from the unnamed White House official, that Biden was allegedly busy “preparing for a big speech tomorrow” on Tuesday night instead of mixing and mingling with some of the world’s most powerful movers and shakers was big time called into question Wednesday after clips of Biden giving that speech were posted to social media.

As per the norm, instead of making any sense, Biden was a bumbling, incoherent mess, embarrassing our country on the world stage yet again:

If that is “being prepared” for a major speech, I shudder to think what an unprepared Joe Biden might look like giving this speech.

Unfortunately, this wasn’t the only time during Biden’s trip that he looked and sounded lost, out of sorts, and like he didn’t know what he was doing or what he was talking about.

Biden’s international trip started off with a befuddled POTUS having to be gently guided around Windsor Castle and the grounds there by King Charles III, who Biden at one point was literally holding on to as the two walked together. There was also the moment when Biden seemed transfixed by one of the Welsh Guards – perhaps talking to the guards (who I believe are not allowed to speak) and had to be coaxed away by the British monarch.

In addition to his speech, Biden’s trip to Lithuania for the NATO Summit was also filled with more moments of confusion from start to finish, with Lithuanian President Gitanas Nausėda at a couple of points having to act in the role of Biden handler/babysitter in physically moving him to the places he needed to be.

Back in November 2022, Biden also sparked concerns after he infamously bowed out of a G20 “Leaders” event at the last minute, and his spokespeople wouldn’t explain why the change was made.

Try as they might, the Biden White House cannot hide the elephant in the room any longer. Biden continues to demonstrate that he is unfit for a second term, and his trip full of struggles on foreign soil only further proves the point.
