It’s not unusual for Reps. Eric Swalwell (D-Calif.) and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) to make complete fools of themselves, but over the last couple of weeks, it seems they’ve gone the extra mile in order to remind people as to just what special kinds of fools they actually are.
In both instances, visits to the free state of Florida were involved. Both were called out for their hypocrisy for going maskless and for visiting a state whose leader – Gov. Ron DeSantis – is one who they and other Democrats have relentlessly bashed and basically called a murderer because he didn’t go the draconian route on mandates and lockdowns during the coronavirus pandemic.
In AOC’s case, however, things got a little extra spicy when she bizarrely claimed that the root of all criticisms leveled at her is because her critics want to date her or something. Further, the socialist Congresswoman also took a swipe at DeSantis, feeding into the “Where is Ron?” lie by rhetorically asking “Hasn’t Gov. DeSantis been inexplicably missing for like 2 weeks?”
Though DeSantis had a good laugh over it all, another Florida Republican took it one step further in an interview she did on Fox Business last week, where she was asked to address Swalwell’s and AOC’s actions and comments.
Rep. Kat Cammack did not pull any punches when talking about the issue with host Maria Bartiromo. In her remarks, Cammack dinged Swalwell by referencing his Chinese honey pot controversy and also zapped AOC over her “62 proxy votes” as an example of the so-called “Squad leader” being missing herself:
“And you would think that this would be something that of all people, Eric Swalwell could wrap his head around, because you know this whole leading by example thing seems to be a foreign concept for the vast majority of Democrats today, but as we know, Representative Swalwell seems to like foreign things like Chinese spies, and unfortunately we find another Democrat in the Sunshine State, a state in which he has criticized,” she said.
[…]
“Well, [DeSantis] has actually been with his wife Casey, who is battling breast cancer, so he’s been accompanying her to her treatments. Yet, AOC doesn’t seem to acknowledge that and so I like to say, you know, why don’t you explain your 62 proxy votes this year, the votes that she just simply couldn’t make it into Washington for. Don’t you think that her constituents deserve to know?” she said.
“Furthermore, one in eight women in her district are battling breast cancer, does she not think their spouses or their person should be with them? Apparently not.”
Watch:
The liberal Left has become the party of “do as I say, not as I do.” People like Eric Swalwell and AOC traveling to the Sunshine State to enjoy our freedoms after criticizing the leadership of Governor DeSantis is laughable.
Their hypocrisy knows no bounds. pic.twitter.com/5ajkGs0y0z

Well done, ma’am. Well done. All that was missing at the end of that interview was a mic drop. I presume an offer of a date with AOC is coming? 😉
