Joe Lockhart Gets Inconvenient Reminder of Why It's Best for Clintonistas to Sit out #MeToo Discussions

The Clintons announced Monday, Oct. 8, 2018, they will visit four cities in 2018 and nine in 2019 across North America in a series of conversations dubbed “An Evening with President Bill Clinton and former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton." As we’ve documented extensively here at RedState, there’s been a whole lot of unabashed hypocrisy displayed by Democrats and the mainstream media in light of Tara Reade’s sexual assault allegations against Joe Biden. But the Clinton brand of #BelieveAllWomen hypocrisy is a special brand that deserves additional scrutiny and ridicule.

There was, of course, Hillary Clinton’s two-faced nature on the issue last week, when she enthusiastically endorsed the presumptive 2020 Democratic presidential nominee during a virtual town hall that focused almost exclusively on women’s issues.

It wasn’t the first time Clinton gave a public show of support for Biden in the face of allegations of sexual misconduct. Back in September, she more or less used the “Joe is Joe” excuse for Biden’s well-known overly handsy nature. Besides, she noted at the time, the bigger issue beyond the numerous allegations from Democratic women that Biden had touched them inappropriately was that Trump “must be defeated.”

Unlike Clinton’s endorsement of Biden last week, former Clintonista Joe Lockhart weighed in directly on the allegations against Biden in a tweet – and got blasted for his double standards. Here’s what he tweeted Sunday:

Compare that to what he tweeted during the Brett Kavanaugh hearings:

What a surprise. A Clintonista – and one who was the press secretary during the most tumultuous time of Bill Clinton’s presidency, where Clinton not only had admitted to being an adulterer and was impeached for lying under oath, but had also been accused of rape – is not showing consistency when it comes to believing all women?

Who woulda thought?

Going forward, you might want to sit this one out, Joe. Seriously. Just sit it out.
