Yesterday, I wrote about a series of photo tweets posted by TPUSA’s Benny Johnson that told the story of the plight of residents in some of Baltimore’s poorest neighborhoods.
The photos were startling and disturbing, and you couldn’t help but feel for the people in Democratic Rep. Elijah Cummings‘s district who suffer daily from rat infestations, the smell of dead animals, unsanitary and smelly trash pile-ups, high crime, poverty, and lack of opportunity. It’s no place for a human being to live.
In spite of what up until recently just about everyone was willing to admit about the serious issues the poorest parts of Baltimore face every day, Democrats including race hustler Al Sharpton continued to hammer President Trump Tuesday for having the audacity to both criticize the problems in the district and wonder what Cummings has done in his 20+ years representing it.
Unfortunately for offended Democrats, the dire nature of the situation in Baltimore overrides their outrage. Perhaps nothing better exemplifies this than a live shot done by Fox 45 – Baltimore Monday of the impacted areas, which they showed during a segment where residents were interviewed about Trump’s “rat-infested” tweets. Here’s what happened:

Here’s how the news station described the live shot on their website:
A rat was seen running through a FOX45 reporter’s live shot during a story on President Trump’s tweet Baltimore is rat-infested.
Maxine Streicher was in west Baltimore’s Sandtown-Winchester neighborhood today to report on conditions.
In the summer of 2018, Fox 45 did a report that featured then-Mayor Catherine Pugh (D) touring the rows of dilapidated homes, and complaining of the smell of rats and dead animals. “What the hell? We should just take all this sh*t down,” Pugh can be heard saying in one part of the video:
As Nikki Haley said Tuesday, those upset with Trump’s comments should stop throwing racism accusations around and take him up on his offer of federal help. The time talking is over. The time for for helping – and for change – is now.
