NBC News anchor Craig Melvin issued a hysterical on-air disclaimer Tuesday while covering the Supreme Court’s ruling upholding state laws that bar transgender athletes from girls’ and women’s sports teams.
Melvin felt compelled to inform viewers that the network was using the terms “biological male” and “biological female” because they appear directly in the high court’s decision and dissent.
He's ... he's treating the terms as if they're derogatory slurs.
“Just a quick note here. The terms that we’re using here during our reporting, biological male, biological female — the high court put those terms in quotations in their decision and their dissent," Melvin said, practically wiping his hands of any association with the language. "But just so you know, we’re using those terms from the decision itself, biological male, biological female.”

Hey, Craig, blink twice if you're being held hostage by the Wokes, my man.
The terms "biological male" and "biological female" are standard, precise scientific terms used across biology, genetics, developmental biology, endocrinology, reproductive medicine, and a myriad of other fields.
It's okay to use them. Trust the Science®!
Of course, this is the same guy who let viewers know during the race riots of 2020 that his network would not and could not use the word "riot."
“While the situation on the ground in Minneapolis is fluid, and there has been violence, it is most accurate at this time to describe what is happening there as ‘protests’–not riots,” he claimed at the time and without evidence.
This will guide our reporting in MN. “While the situation on the ground in Minneapolis is fluid, and there has been violence, it is most accurate at this time to describe what is happening there as "protests"--not riots.”

Melvin also happened to be the anchor of "MSNBC Reports" and was involved in the network's coverage on the same day that reporter Ali Veshi was out on the streets, standing in front of burning buildings, telling viewers that the rioters were "not, generally speaking, unruly."
There was video to the contrary, but they still couldn't bring themselves to accurately report on what you could clearly see with your own eyes.
This is Ali VelshI seconds ago on Brian Williams's show, standing in front of a burning Minneapolis building and saying what you hear him say here, which might be the stupidest thing ever said on American television (and that includes the entirety of Rachel Maddow's career.) pic.twitter.com/qU6Xn7Aw2D

If he's been writing a book of stupid things to say, Melvin already has some serious entries.
Biological reality itself has become controversial over at the low-IQ networks, even when the Supreme Court quotes it verbatim as a term of reality.
Melvin and his colleagues can issue all the trigger warnings they want for their soft and scientifically detached viewers. Biological males will have a much harder time competing against biological females in sports. Say it over and over again.
