President Donald Trump uncharacteristically lost his temper a bit when discussing violations of the ceasefire between Iran and Israel with reporters on Tuesday.
Trump took a moment to discuss overnight developments in the Middle East before heading off to attend a NATO summit in The Hague, Netherlands.
Hours after the president announced a ceasefire between the warring nations, Israel accused Iran of violating it by launching missiles. They, in turn, planned retaliatory strikes on Tehran. Iran denied the missile launches, while Trump expressed frustration with both nations, particularly Israel, for undermining the fragile truce.
In a Truth Social media post early this morning, Trump demanded Israel turn their planes around and call off the counterattack.
"Do not drop those bombs," he wrote in all caps. "If you do, it is a major violation."
Speaking with reporters, Trump reiterated his displeasure with Israel attempting to retaliate, saying, "These guys gotta calm down. It's ridiculous."

"I didn't like plenty of things that I saw yesterday," added Trump. "I didn't like the fact that Israel unloaded right after we made the deal ... and I didn't like the fact that the retaliation was very strong."
In follow-up commentary, a clearly agitated President Trump dropped an expletive when describing why both Iran and Israel seemingly have no idea how to rein in their hostilities.
“You basically have two countries that have been fighting for so long and so hard that they don’t know what the f*** they’re doing," he seethed. "Do you understand that?"

An angry President Trump on Israel and the Islamic Republic of Iran:

It is very unlike President Trump to lose his cool and drop an f-bomb, but his comments accurately reflect that people are weary of the warring actions between Iran and Israel. People want peace.
Shortly thereafter, the President again took to Truth Social to assure the world that the ceasefire was still intact and that any retaliatory strikes by Israel would be halted.

His statement reads as part update, part warning.
"Israel is not going to attack Iran. All planes will turn around and head home, while doing a friendly 'Plane Wave' to Iran," he wrote. "Nobody will be hurt, the Ceasefire is in effect!"
Tensions momentarily flared, but the adult came back in the room to lecture both countries on their behavior. Will Iran and Israel listen and hold the ceasefire?
They're getting a taste of an angry President Trump. They might not like it if it gets worse.
