Trump Torches ‘Woke’ Bishop After Disgraceful National Prayer Sermon: ‘Nasty, Boring, Uninspiring’

President Donald Trump thoroughly lambasted 'woke' bishop Mariann Budde following her liberal lecture disguised as a sermon at the National Prayer Service on Tuesday.

Trump referred to Budde correctly as "a radical left, hard-line Trump hater" in a late-night post on his Truth Social media platform.

"She brought her church into the world of politics in a very ungracious way," he fumed. "She was nasty in tone and not compelling or smart."

Trump noted that for all of Budde's bluster about sympathy for illegals, she did not make mention of the many American victims of illegal alien crime, particularly those who have been murdered by individuals pouring over the southern border.

He then demanded an apology, which is unlikely to ever happen.

"Apart from her inappropriate statements, the service was a very boring and uninspiring one," he wrote. "She is not very good at her job! She and her church owe the public an apology!"

Initially, President Trump was much more reserved with his critiques when he returned to the White House later that day. But as time passed, it seemed he had to get something off his chest.

Especially after seeing Budde go on CNN to soak up her fifteen minutes of fame.

For those who missed it, Budde embarrassed the church when she went on a weird 'sermon' about how the LGBT community is scared for their lives now that Trump and Vice President J.D. Vance are in the White House.

She tossed in a mention of people who "pick our crops" as well, which is super-racist.

"In the name of our God, I ask you to have mercy upon the people in our country who are scared now. There are gay, lesbian, and transgender children and Democratic, Independent, and Republican families, some who fear for their lives," Budde whined.

"And the people, the people who pick our crops and clean our office buildings, who labor in poultry farms and meat-packing plants, who wash the dishes after we eat in restaurants, they, they may not be citizens or have the proper documentation, but the vast majority of immigrants are not criminals."

Au contraire, ma sœur. The vast majority are, in fact, criminals. Their very introduction into our society is as a law-breaker. Illegal aliens commit crimes at a rate of exactly 100%.

Budde would follow up the National Prayer effort by joining Erin Burnett on CNN. Which was kind of the point all along. Most people of the cloth don't seek out attention, but here we have Budde lecturing the President in a way she knows is going to make the left-wing media drool, then making a triumphant appearance on a radical anti-Trump media outlet.

"I was looking at the president because I was speaking directly to him ..." she bragged. "I wanted to say, you know, there is room for mercy, there‘s room for a broader compassion."

There's also room to uphold the laws of a sovereign nation. Without laws, there is chaos, there is crime, there is murder. What kind of bishop stands in defense of criminals and murderers?

Apparently, Budde does.
