Know Why Democrats Hated Trump's MSG Rally? Because They Finally Saw What Joy in America Looks Like

Donald Trump's rally at Madison Square Garden resulted in a historic packed house of nearly 20,000. A massive overflow crowd watched the event on a big screen. Energy and electricity were off the charts, rivaling - if not exceeding - that seen at the Republican National Convention.

Whereas Vice President Kamala Harris has stolen components of Trump's campaign and called them her own, the Donald, the mastermind behind the "'art of the deal," seized the entire soul of her campaign.

The MSG rally was where joy in America made a comeback. And that's why Democrats hated the entire event from start to finish, gnashing their teeth at every slightly controversial remark, while people in the arena and millions more watching at home didn't have a care in the world.

They knew the media would twist their words. They knew Democrats would call them by the tired labels of Nazis and racists, falsely. And they just didn't care.

Because they were having a great time knowing that America is finally about to be great again. The smiles, the laughter, and the singing ran non-stop throughout the day.

You could just feel it. Kamala has told her supporters that despite being in the White House for four years, a better day is coming after the election. "Joy cometh in the morning," Kamala has preached.

But Trump beat her to it. Joy had cometh to Madison Square Garden.

While Harris and her Democrat colleagues seethe at the very thought that conservative voters would be inside that arena, calling them racists, fascists, and Nazis, practically sending up a Bat Signal to their unhinged supporters, some of whom like to kill heroic attendees at Trump rallies, those inside and out were simply having a good time.

The joy began with comedian Tony Hinchcliffe, who offered up edgy jokes that made some in the crowd groan at first, but ultimately they found the humor in his controversial takes.

RedState columnist Brandon Morse likened the set to locker room talk for men, which, as we know from the folks at Access Hollywood, the left doesn't get. Ever. Probably because the men in their party often times head on over to the women's locker room.

"In the same way, men get together and insult each other because slamming each other is fun and actually brings them closer," Morse writes. "We all laugh at each other and ourselves, and that's healthy to do."

Laugh, they did. And when it wasn't laughter, people in the crowd at MSG were experiencing the kind of joy that brings tears to your eyes.

Award-winning singer Mary Millben sang the National Anthem and absolutely knocked it out of the park. The crowd sang along inside the arena, as well as outside. Together. As one. Joyfully.

Millben, who has performed the National Anthem for four consecutive presidents, belted out a rendition to remember while retired New York City firefighters stood behind her.

She spoke about this performance after the rally.

"That's the moment where we all forget about the politics and we think about what's most important," Millben explained. "You know, the greatest country in the world, America."

She described it as a "beautiful moment."

The theme continued when a speaker named David Rem, described as a childhood friend of Trump's, told a story about the former president's father paying for his tuition upon learning of the death of his own father.

Rem proudly declared during his segment that "Christ is king!"

He was not, to the best of my knowledge, told to leave and go to the smaller, less joyful Harris rally.

Hall of Fame WWE wrestler Hulk Hogan amped the energy up to 11 (thank you, Spinal Tap) with a speech that began with his theme song entrance and obligatory ripping off of the shirt.

At one point, he graced those in attendance with his own version of the Trump dance. If that wasn't fun enough, he challenged Trump to an arm wrestling match.

The crowd was losing their minds at this point.

โ€œI don't see no stinking Nazis in here. I don't see no stinking domestic terrorists in here. The only thing I see in here are a bunch of hard-working men and women that are real Americans, brother,โ€ Hogan said.

That's true. Because the only thing anybody could see at MSG was hope and joy.

The hope came in the form of X CEO Elon Musk, who has the wide-eyed optimism of a child seeing a rocket for the first time... at all times. Musk, who is seeking to lead the United States on a mission to Mars, voiced that unbridled optimism during his speech.

"We're going to get the government off your back and out of your pocketbook," Musk promised. "And America's just not going. It's just going to be great. America is going to reach heights that it has never seen before."

And it didn't end there. Michael โ€œHarry Oโ€ Harris, one of the founders of the legendary hip-hop label Death Row Records, spoke about family values on stage and explained that without Donald Trump, he wouldn't be standing there before them.

The former president granted Harris clemency back in 2021 after he spent a total of 33 years in prison on drug charges.

"It's a bigger story. Gotta let you know about it," Harris said of the pardon that freed him. "God spoke to his heart and Donald Trump signed with his heart, my release after 33 years."

God spoke to Trump's heart and it gave Harris hope to start anew.

Then of course, there was conservative media icon Tucker Carlson, urging supporters at the rally to emerge from the shadows and show their support for Donald Trump. And to experience the "liberation" that comes with that.

"Itโ€™s the freedom to say whatโ€™s obviously true as a free man and not a slave," he said. "I just want to say thank you, Donald Trump, for that.โ€

America has been living with the misery of the Biden-Harris administration for four very long years. Election day and even early voting will allow this nation to once again feel that liberation.

But it's more than that. It's the freedom to experience joy once more.

One candidate promised it when she kicked off her campaign. But one candidate delivered it in spades at MSG yesterday.

Imagine four more years of that.
