How Elizabeth Warren Helped Set Ferguson, MO on Fire

In the Aristophanes play The Clouds, philosophers are mocked and essentially portrayed as fancy-sounding BS Artists. Aristophanes was a skilled comedian. Humor usually revolves around taking a new and interesting look at the truth. This time the funny man was pretty funny. However this time the funny man was also wrong. Bad philosophy is far worse than just being an object of ridicule.

Pro Aristophanes, there is much to ridicule in the philosophical basis of Post-modern Progressive ideology. The entire “You Didn’t Build That” trope is worthy of a ridicule post in and of itself. It is also as dangerous a philosophical conceit as it is an intellectually laughable one. Like any trope parroted by Barack Obama, other people did the serious thinking involved before he stole it and slapped it on a bumper sticker.* Here’s Senator Lieawatha’s original call to loot.

“You built a factory out there? Good for you,” she says. “But I want to be clear: you moved your goods to market on the roads the rest of us paid for; you hired workers the rest of us paid to educate; you were safe in your factory because of police forces and fire forces that the rest of us paid for. You didn’t have to worry that marauding bands would come and seize everything at your factory, and hire someone to protect against this, because of the work the rest of us did.”

Llewelyn “Curly” Humphries and his boys in The Outfit** would have been proud of the sentence about marauding bands. Just imagine what would happen if Fake Indian were to withhold that protection for a day. Just look what happened when the Missouri National Guard took its sweet time getting to West Florisette.

Back when Professor Fake Indian was running to become Senator Lieawatha, I reduced her Macroeconomic assumptions to the Microeconomic level to demonstrate their laughable illogic.

[mc_name name=’Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA)’ chamber=’senate’ mcid=’W000817′ ]’s brain is clearly dead to logic and reason. The State of Alabama built several roads that I drove to work on this morning. They therefore own the beer in my refrigerator, if I bought it using proceeds from my paycheck. I can drink half-a-case myself and should enjoy it, but those last few should go a government-sponsored reality abatement program. It’s like medicinal marijuana, except that it makes you piss and burp, rather than eat all the Doritos. Sadly, politics is like a cheesy work of zombie fiction. Despite her obvious lack of any intellectual pulse, her career staggers forward.

Not only does Lieawatha’s career stagger forward, so do her sick and delusional ideals. “You didn’t build that” is something that Professor Warren should never have accepted on a term paper at Harvard with adequate footnoting. And once “The Banksters” didn’t build Wall Street, it can occupied at the whim of any peasant mob. And if some racist Grand Jury meets in a building built at taxpayer expense***…..

As Aristophanes called out BS in Ancient Athens, we need to call out BS today. Unlike Aristophanes’ conclusion in The Clouds, the BS spouted to justify Post-modern Progressive beliefs is not just a laughing matter. It is toxic, it is vile, and it will ultimately set the rest of America on fire just like it did Ferguson. [mc_name name=’Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA)’ chamber=’senate’ mcid=’W000817′ ] never threw a Molotov Cocktail in her over-privileged Whitey-Tight existence. She does, however, provide a sick and dishonest moral justification for every thug, thief and looter who burned a business in Ferguson, MO and helped themselves to the consumer electronics contained therein. The burning buildings on Ferguson, MO are a physical manifestation of [mc_name name=’Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA)’ chamber=’senate’ mcid=’W000817′ ]’s intellectual handiwork brought to life.

*-But then again, it’s not like Liz Warren built that! She went to reservation schools other people paid for. Oh, wait…

**-Humphries supposedly originated the Democratic Party folk wisdom “Vote early, vote often.”

***-The cold, hard truth contra Liz Warren. This NSFW version is shorter and to the point.
