Writing to Santa is a good way for kids to learn letter writing, but one six-year-old Santa skeptic is having none of it this year.

NPR political reporter, Sarah McCammon, posted her son’s letter on Twitter with a typed version:

Dear Santa,

Santa Im only doing this for the class. I know your notty list is emty. And your good list is emty. and your life is emty. You don’t know the trouble Ive had in my life. Good bye.

Im not telling you my name

I don’t think the Grinch himself could’ve come up with a more savage letter to Santa.

McCammon notes in a later tweet the “trouble” her son is referring to is his brother.

She says of her son, “He is a wonderful, bright, sweet, happy, compassionate boy who loves his brother and his dog and LOVES holidays. He just likes adults to level with him.”

The Easter Bunny and Tooth Fairy better watch out.
