According to Donald Trump’s attorney, Sherri Dillon, all foreign payments to Trump hotels and resorts will be donated to outside organizations during Trump’s presidency.

Dillon spoke at length at Donald Trump’s first press conference since being elected. This issue had been raised in the context of the emoluments clause that states that no American office holder may accept gifts or payments from foreign governments. Trump’s vast hotel and resort accommodations around the world were a topic of discussion in regards to this clause.
