In case you missed what happened on Thursday on the House floor after House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La) announced the passage of the One Big Beautiful Bill (OBBB), we have you covered.

In a clip from C-SPAN's coverage, Johnson announced the House's final vote tally, revealing that Trump's signature reconciliation bill had passed 218-214, stating that the "motion is adopted" while using his gavel to make things official.

First, the room erupted in cheers and applause as Johnson smiled about actually being able to get Trump's OBBB done ahead of the July 4th holiday.

However, it was the moment immediately following that caught my attention, and I figured you might appreciate it, too.

Several people in the chamber started chanting "USA," and soon a swarm of other legislators joined in, repeating the same three letters, "USA!, USA! USA!"

Our sister site, Townhall.com's Katie Pavlich, noted the moment as well with her post on X.

"The Big Beautiful Bill has passed," Pavlich wrote. "Chants of USA! USA! USA! Break out on the House floor."

It's a chant so many of us have come to embrace, probably since before we were old enough to know just how impactful those three little letters would be in our lives. But really, it's more of a battle cry. And while it might be possible that one, two, or even three members of the Democratic Party joined in on the fun (when, of course, no one was looking), it really doesn't matter. Does it?

RedState's Susie Moore reported on Johnson's speech for the ages before the OBBB officially passed.

Following Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries' (D-NY) record-setting eight-and-a-half-plus hour marathon of mendacity, during which all manner of epithets were hurled at the OBBB in the Democrats' hopeless effort to delay the inevitable vote, "Magic Mike" took to the podium and availed himself of his own "Magic Minute" to address the House ahead of the final vote.

Indeed, it was closer to 20 minutes, but Johnson made the most of it, beginning with some much-welcomed humor when he kicked it off by plunking a giant binder down on the podium, as though he were preparing to match (or outlast) Jeffries.

She then noted some of the highlights of his speech and how he pointed out that it's time for all Americans to celebrate because of the bill's passage.

A snippet can be read below:

So, listen, seriously, as friends and colleagues, really, across the aisle, what we celebrate tomorrow is the nation's birthday. Let's put the politics aside for a minute, and let's reflect on our blessings — no kidding, really. Tomorrow is the 249th birthday of our nation — [this elicited a 'Wooo!' from the Democrats' side of the chamber] — that's right. [Republican members seated behind Johnson stood and began clapping and chanting USA; though off-camera, it appears that at least some of the Democrats joined in on this.]

"I mean this sincerely, I thank my colleagues for standing – we all should be united in that. We are, we are. We have squabbles, we have partisan debates and all of this, but at the end of the day, we're all Americans, man. And we've gotta believe that, we've gotta know it, we've gotta recognize that we live in the greatest nation in the history of the world — it's not even close.
