Fetterman Lets Loose on Dems Over Wild DSA Video

As we reported, "Fox News Sunday" aired a pretty wild segment with the Democratic Socialists of America national co-chair, Megan Romer.

Host Shannon Bream went down a list of extreme agenda items that would amount to a dismantling of our government, and asked Romer to confirm if these were, in fact, positions held by the DSA. Romer confirmed them all, including abolishing the Senate, replacing the presidency and the Supreme Court, abolishing borders and prisons, and even defunding the Pentagon. In fact, Romer was particularly enthusiastic about that last one, which is in fact the major obligation of our federal government in our Constitution: "provide for the common defense."

If you abolish all those things, you are abolishing the country as we know it.

Sen. John Fetterman (D-PA) immediately was horrified by that. He is one of the few Democrats willing to call out his party. And maybe it won't be his party much longer if it keeps going down this path. But it was clear he was incensed.

Fetterman rightly chastised other Democrats, calling abolishing the Senate, the Pentagon (effectively by not funding it), the presidency (by changing it), and prisons, "This isn't a big tent — it's anarchy." You got that right, and steps toward the kind of radical state that people have been fleeing for years.

Fetterman put the big question to the Democrats, "Why can't Dems call out the DSA?"

The problem is they have become so intertwined. The leaders see the base going left, and they're afraid to offend them, and in not doing so, they have become them. House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (NY-08) had the opportunity when the New York socialists chanted he was next, clearly indicating they were coming for his seat. But he bent over and did nothing to call them out.

Boom: Hakeem Jeffries Gets Caught in a Lie and Wrecked Over Response to Socialists

The response of Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) has been equally worthless.

I think Fetterman may switch parties soon, if this keeps up; I don't think he wants to be associated with this insanity. But also, I don't think most Americans would vote for any party that would hold hands with this craziness to dismantle America. So the GOP needs to keep ramming home what the Democrats have been doing here — not just because it's good to do for us politically, but because it's critical to do for the defense of the nation.

It's now reaching critical mass, with more of these folks winning seats/primaries. That's on Democrats who are propping up their ability to run, because they think it will help their power, without seeming to realize they are the people who will get eaten first as the socialists take over.

They have to be fully rejected by the voters.
