It's important to remember that any time we see stories about "reports" on what is supposedly in the deal with Iran, we have to hold them all a little at arm's length, unless they've been officially confirmed. And even then, that's a challenge, when Iran seems to keep changing their positions and isn't exactly an honest actor. Nothing's really "the deal" until it's final, and it seems to be an evolving process.
But you especially have to doubt what's being said when it's Iran putting it out. Fox's Jacqui Heinrich rightly said to take it with a grain of salt, as she explained what Iranian state television was saying now about the "Memorandum of Understanding (MOU)" with the U.S. She cautioned that it went against some of the U.S. red lines.
JUST IN: Iranian state TV has published what it claims is a new draft proposal for peace with the U.S. — and it reportedly still clashes with several major American red lines.

Iran was claiming that the MOU would have the U.S. withdraw forces and lift the naval blockade in exchange for the regime restoring commercial traffic in the Strait of Hormuz within a month, with all ship traffic managed by Iran, and that this would become binding with a United Nations Security Council resolution.
The proposal allegedly includes demands tied to Iran’s nuclear program and future enforcement measures, while also calling for $20 billion in frozen funds to be released as part of the deal.
If you believe that, I have a bridge in Brooklyn to sell you.
The White House Rapid Response just decimated that Iranian media report.
This report from Iranian controlled media is not true and the MOU they “released” is a complete fabrication. Nobody should believe what Iranian state media is putting out. FACTS MATTER. https://t.co/agpTnBSgKu

“As President Trump has said, negotiations are proceeding nicely and he has made his redlines clear," White House assistant press secretary Olivia Wales told Fox News via email.
"President Trump will only make a good deal for the American people, which must ensure that Iran can never have a nuclear weapon.”
Trump himself also told PBS in a phone call that there would be no sanctions relief in exchange for the "nuclear dust (the highly enriched uranium)."
“No, no, not at all. Not sanctions relief, no,” Trump said in a phone call when asked if a current deal would trade sanctions relief for Iran surrendering its highly enriched uranium.
“They're gonna give up their highly enriched uranium not for sanctions, relief. No, no, not at all,” Trump added.
We've seen Iran do stuff like this before, such as earlier this week, trying to repackage tolls as "environmental fees" so they could better their legal argument to control the Strait and make money off of that. That isn't going to fly.

Trump is currently meeting with his Cabinet, so we'll have to see what comes of that regarding Iran.
Editor's Note: For decades, former presidents have been all talk and no action. Now, Donald Trump is eliminating the threat from Iran once and for all.
