Trump Has King Charles for a Visit, Discovers Something Guaranteed to Upset the 'No Kings' People

The U.K's King Charles III and Queen Camilla are visiting President Donald Trump at the White House. Here's part of the formal ceremony on Tuesday.

They actually arrived on Monday and had a less formal meet-and-greet. The First Lady, Melania Trump, took them to see her beehive, and there was an amazing picture of Trump holding a bee in his hand.

Charles is one heck of a raging liberal, in my humble opinion, observing him over the years, but Trump has said they have a good relationship. They have a lot to talk about, including the fact that Trump has been unhappy about how the U.K. reacted regarding Iran and not being sufficiently supportive, given our alliance. Maybe Trump can put the arm on the King to get his people in line. I suspect he's certainly going to try.

But Trump may have another connection he hadn't known about. According to an investigation by the Daily Mail, he could be the King's cousin.

Research conducted on behalf of the Daily Mail claims that both Donald Trump and King Charles may be related through the same Scottish nobleman, the 3rd Earl of Lennox. The study suggests that this shared ancestry could make them very distant cousins, reportedly around 15 generations apart.

The claim stems from detailed genealogical work that traces royal and aristocratic bloodlines through centuries of records. The Earl of Lennox, who lived in the 16th century, was connected to the Scottish royal family through King James II. His lineage is said to have eventually contributed to the House of Windsor, which includes King Charles.

On the other side, the research suggests Trump’s connection comes through his mother’s ancestry. His late mother, Mary Anne MacLeod, emigrated from Scotland to the United States in the early 20th century. According to the findings, her family line can allegedly be traced back through generations of Scottish clans, eventually linking to the same noble ancestry.

Trump obviously found the news quite funny. He wrote a humorous post that he was going to talk to Charles about "living at Buckingham Palace" during the White House visit.

There is no one like him.

And you just know that's going to drive the "No Kings" folks crazy, "Look, now, he really thinks he's a king!"
