Democrats seem to be losing their grip on the media lately.
We've even seen ABC's Jon Karl pointing the finger at Democrats for not voting to open the government. Then there was CBS Face the Nation host Margaret Brennan busting Sen. Chris Murphy (D-CT) with his own words about prior shutdowns.

On Sunday, Brennan surprisingly caught another Democrat with his own words - House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (NY). Jeffries has been decrying redistricting efforts by Republicans, claiming such efforts are "rigging elections."

Brennan took him to task. “Democrats were appalled when President Trump used language like that,” Brennan said. “How do you justify using that now? Doesn’t that undermine faith for voters you need to show up?”
Good to show the hypocrisy of their language. Not to mention that Democrats have been "election denying" for at least 25 years. They're the ones who came up with the term and demonized Republicans over it.
Brennan kept at him, reminding him that Democrats are also pushing gerrymandering, such as in California.
Jeffries claimed they were pushing back to ensure "fair maps" to fight partisan gerrymandering by Republicans.
Here was Jeffries again being hypocritical, arguing that somehow it's "D" different because a Democrat is using it. He claimed he was using it because of Trump's effort to gerrymander districts, but he ignores the long history of Democratic gerrymandering. Once again, if Democrats do it, they're "saving Democracy," if Republicans do it, it's the "end of democracy." He doesn't have a leg to stand on here, and Brennan let him know it.
In addition to Brennan schooling him, what was also funny was the hissy fit that Democrats threw in response. Somehow, this was "scary" and maybe an indication of how the new CBS editor-in-chief, Bari Weiss, is changing CBS.

Democrats lost their minds when the news about Weiss was announced.

People had great fun laughing at Democrats for having such a response to Brennan asking simple questions.

Democrats are so used to compliant media, they don't know what asking real questions is about. How dare she actually ask him about Democrat hypocrisy on this issue! They don't know how to deal when the folks on their side are finally put on the spot to justify their remarks.
Are Democrats afraid they're losing hold on the network? If Weiss is trying to improve the journalistic credibility at CBS, that would be a good thing for the American people.
I say bring it on.
