It was fortunate for California that Kamala Harris decided not to run for governor after losing badly running for the presidency in 2024. Although, of course, that may mean she's going to try to run again for president in 2028.
But, meanwhile, she's trying to promote her tour for her book that will be coming out in September, "107 Days." It's pretty hilarious that she's trying to sell a book based on a losing campaign.
107 Days is my candid and personal account of the shortest presidential campaign in modern history.

Over the next few months, I will travel our country to share behind-the-scenes moments, lessons learned, and how we keep moving forward together.
I'll see you out there. pic.twitter.com/OyixggMEPA

What is she going to tell people? How to lose and blow more than a billion in the process?
Noting it's the "shortest campaign in history isn't a positive, Kamala. It's a reminder that you didn't get the primary votes for the top position, that you were handed the nomination, and Democrats put us in that mess because of Joe Biden's cognitive issues.
The video reads like she thinks she's something like Beyonce - off on a concert tour - with all the towns listed at the end. If she believes that, she's seriously deluding herself. She even includes London and Toronto on the tour, which, last time I checked, weren't part of this country. They probably do have liberals who might be twisted enough to buy her book or pay for a ticket to the tour.
What's funny is her response to a question from Stephen Colbert, who asked: "What do you want people to take away from the story of the 107 days?"
But she has no answer - all she does is cackle - she doesn't actually say anything of worth in the whole ad, just like she said nothing of worth during her campaign. So what does she think she has to offer in a book? And if people rejected her candidacy, why would they spend money to buy a book or tickets for a tour from the person they rejected?
She couldn't even get the book-selling stuff quite right, with questions being raised about her usage of the DNC's email.
The good thing about this video is that it is a reminder of how much better off we are now than we would be if she had won. Thank you, American people, for having the sense to vote against that.
People had a lot of fun mocking her tour.
Rep. Virginia Foxx (R-NC) found the humor:
A nationwide comedy tour. https://t.co/5zMIXkI7yJ

White House Deputy Press Secretary Abigail Jackson:
Because nothing says kicking off your 2028 campaign like a book tour about how badly you lost the last election 🤠 https://t.co/MdKhhhbcnv

Then there was this fun prediction, which I think is a good bet:
The book will be on the clearance rack before the tour’s halfway through. https://t.co/WXh6kdFfVS
