As we previously reported, President Donald Trump said he would be working at McDonald's this weekend in a troll of his political opponent, Kamala Harris. Harris has said that she "did fries" when she was younger -- but no evidence has been produced to support her claim.

On Sunday, Trump made good on that promise as he went to work at a Mickey D’s in Feasterville-Trevose, which is in Bucks County, a swing county northeast of Philadelphia.

Police closed the busy streets around the McDonald’s he was visiting and cordoned off the restaurant as a crowd a couple blocks long gathered, sometimes 10- to 15-deep, across the street straining to catch a glimpse of Trump. Horns honked and music blared as Trump supporters waved flags, held signs and took pictures.

The AP ran a title that said, "Trump Visiting McDonald's While Offering No Evidence for Saying Harris Didn't Work There in College." Astounding. This has gotten simply ridiculous -- he has to offer evidence that she didn't work there when she has offered up zero evidence that she did? Even Snopes said they found no evidence she worked there. It just shows how in the tank the media can be.

But Trump and the cheering crowd outside the McDonald's served them up some reality.

Trump was ready to go, and he was eating her lunch.

He got there, and then he suited up.

He was asked what was his favorite thing to order. He professed to liking it all, but had a particular fondness for the fries, the area where he was going to work.

Then they put him right to work on the spuds, with the hot oil.

Then he filled up the containers of fries and bagged up the orders. He complimented his trainers for helping him out and said they did a good job teaching him.

Then he moved to the drive-thru, complimented a "good-looking family," and said he would be paying for it because he made it himself.

People loved him.

One woman asked him to help keep the U.S. from becoming like her native Brazil.

He assured her he would prevent that, "We'll keep it good, we're going to make it better than ever."

Trump said it was a great franchise and they had been very nice to him. He pointed out how this was charging up the crowd and he said, "Now I've worked 15 minutes longer than Kamala.'

The crowd roared when he waved from the window.

Now this has got to be iconic -- what a great picture:

Trump pulled it off very well; he looked good in the position, and he didn't do a "Dukakis" in the process.

One has to be thinking that Kamala Harris is throwing a fit somewhere and some poor assistant is getting an earful from her over this.

Trump is on from there to an evening town hall in Lancaster before attending the Pittsburgh Steelers home game against the New York Jets.
