Embarrassing: Biden and Dems Faceplant With 'Cookie Monster' Shrinkflation Gambit

Joe Biden has been trying to deflect from Bidenflation by trying to blame corporations for greed or "Shrinkflation." Instead of doing even a softball Super Bowl interview, he put out a video about that instead.

"Some companies are trying to pull a fast one by shrinking their products little by little and hoping you won’t notice," Biden said in the video. "Give me a break. The American public is tired of being played for suckers. I’m calling on companies to put a stop to this."

That's to make it look like he's concerned about doing something. But he's not doing anything about what he's supposed to be in charge of, like stopping spending to reduce inflation or securing the border.

I'm not sure who's behind the account of the Cookie Monster.

But on Monday, it sounded like the Cookie Monster had absorbed the talking points from Joe Biden.

Then politicians including the White House and Bob Casey embarrassingly responded to Cookie Monster. If you're wondering why Biden can't deal with any of the real issues out there, maybe it's because this is what his team is doing.

Then there was this truly terrible post from Sen. Bob Casey (D-PA).

Casey embarrassingly tweeted at multiple muppets for attention.

What was truly funny was that Cookie Monster hid Casey's tweet. I guess that was so bad it was even too much for the Monster.

But Casey and Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) are trying to push a bill on this.

Then ABC ran a piece on Shrinkflation, highlighting Cookie Monster's complaint. The responses from the White House and Dem politicians were ridiculous:

Can we call that an in-kind donation to the Democrats and a Biden talking point? But there's no coordination going on here, none at all.

Now this is silly. "Shrinkflation" has been going on for years. It isn't the government's role to dictate prices or products unless you're talking about a Communist nation. If people think they're being ripped off, they don't have to buy the product. There is no role at all for government here -- it's the free market.

Not to mention that at the core of the present issues, it's because of Biden's inflation that everything costs more. So companies can either shrink the product or charge more. That's on Biden, that's not the greed of the companies. Just like everyone else, they have to exist in Biden's economy with his bad policies.

The American public is "tired of being played for suckers," and they're not going to fall for such a ridiculous deflection. And they were not at all happy with this gambit.
