Hunter Biden's Eye-Opening Excuse to Pay Less for His Child Involves Joe

Hunter Biden is just like his father — a pretty vile human being.

Biden is in a court battle with the mother of his four-year-old daughter, Navy Joan Roberts, arguing that his child support payments should be reduced because he can’t afford it. It’s disgusting how the family has reacted to her. Joe Biden has refused to even acknowledge that she’s his granddaughter. I wrote the other day about how Biden wouldn’t even include her when he was talking to children at a White House event about his grandchildren. The White House also wouldn’t even comment on the granddaughter — she’s a complete non-entity to everyone in Biden’s world.

As my colleague Bob Hoge explained, Hunter Biden has been trying to plead poverty to get the child support payment down, while still living high on the hog.

There was one more claim that I found so obnoxious and funny that I just had to share it. Hunter’s attorneys are claiming that he’s so broke that when he went to Ireland with his dad, he slept on a cot in his Dad’s room. Seriously, guys? This is what you’re trying now?

Listen as Fox’s Peter Doocy lays it out.

So then Joe and/or Hunter paid for the cost of the cot in the luxury hotel, right? Didn’t he fly on Air Force One? Let’s see the receipts, I’m willing to bet it never happened. But what was he doing there, to begin with, besides getting a free trip and acting like Daddy’s handler? Pleading that as a sign of his “poverty” is just ridiculous.

The president’s son, who made millions of dollars off deals and cushy board positions for foreign companies in the past decade, now has no salary, had his Porsche repossessed, and was forced to sleep on a cot in his father’s room during a recent presidential trip to Dublin, Biden’s lawyers told the court. He has also stooped to taking financial support from a generous friend, Hollywood lawyer Kevin Morris, the court heard on Monday.

They reached an agreement for him to pay $20,000 a month in 2020, but now he’s saying he no longer has it, as he stood next to his very expensive super lawyer Abbe Lowell. They’re even claiming his Porsche was repossessed.

Hunter is living in an “enchanting,” “resort-style” mansion in the upscale celebrity enclave of Malibu. Not only that, but we are paying $30,000 a month to protect Hunter Biden for the Secret Service to live nearby in the swanky neighborhood. Plus he’s supposedly getting thousands of dollars for his artwork. Yet the judge had to chastise his team for failing to come across with the required information on Monday. She ordered Hunter to answer additional written questions about his money — including investments, his art sales, and other financial transactions — after Roberts’ attorney Clinton Lancaster claimed he had so far provided “incomplete answers.”

The judge said Hunter’s team wasn’t giving full answers, noting “The ability to redact is somewhat being abused.” Hunter’s team tried to get out of naming the buyers of the art, saying they didn’t know because of the deal worked out by the White House (but remember, the White House is not involved in Hunter’s business and there’s no conflict there). They even refused to assess how much the art was worth while claiming that was his only income. It’s his only income but he doesn’t know or won’t say how much it is? Come on, man! That doesn’t pass the smell test.

Americans weren’t buying this one for one hot minute. Twitter lit up with people treating the claim with derision.

Even Greta Van Susteren called it nonsense.

Have some conscience and pay for your child, Hunter.
