Elon Musk has shown he’s a guy who isn’t afraid to speak his mind, whatever toes in the power structure he might be stepping on.
This week, he’s been turning his eye to the World Economic Forum. As we noted before, he said that some of their actions “gave him the willies.”
But now he’s been blunter in his criticism, “WEF is increasingly becoming an unelected world government that the people never asked for and don’t want.”

He’s previously called out WEF chair Klaus Schwab’s comment that they intended to “master the future.”

I don’t know if calling it an “unelected government” is the right word, but certainly the influence of the leaders and the powers that be would appear to be significant. If you check out the list of all the people in attendance over the past few days at the WEF in Davos, it reads like a Who’s Who list of powers that be in everything from business to politics. You can check out the list here — scroll down if you want to see the folks from the USA as attendees are listed by country. As we reported earlier, Albert Bourla of Pfizer was there, people from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, Blackrock, NY Times, Amazon — all manner of companies and organizations.
Biden administration officials and U.S. politicians who are there include Special Presidential Envoy for Climate John Kerry (we reported on some of his crazy comments earlier), Director of National Intelligence Avril Haines, FBI Director Christopher Wray, U.S. Agency for International Development Samantha Power, Sen. Chris Coons (D-DE), and Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV).

So Musk isn’t afraid to call out the influence and he also expressed concern about the effort to censor speech, of which they appeared to be very much in favor.

We wrote about some of that earlier with the “disinformation panel” run by Brian Stelter, with Rep. Seth Moulton (D-MA) and A.G. Sulzberger, chairman of the NY Times in attendance. Stelter acknowledged that the Democrats were pushing for “content moderation” of social media and Věra Jourová of the European Commission for Values and Transparency predicted the U.S. would soon have “illegal hate speech.”
“Would be great if someone could compile a game contest of who said the craziest stuff between 4chan and WEF! My money is on the latter,” Musk said.
Tucker Carlson also took them on, reporting on some of the crazier aspects, noting that they are hilariously buffoonish, as they now try to delete some of their wilder positions from their website while John Kerry and Al Gore go into crazy rants.

Tucker also reported that there was at least someone who got an economic benefit out of all the craziness in Davos — the prostitutes.

But let it not be said that these folks at the WEF are not hypocrites. As we previously reported, all these folks calling out the horrors of climate change flew into Davos in their private jets — to heck with those emissions.
While they want you to eat less meat and partake of insects, that’s not stopping them from enjoying meat, of course.

It’s always “do as I say, not as I do,” “Rules for thee but not for me” because it’s ultimately about control. Everything else is just window dressing for that.
