Media Already Trying to Spin for Biden Having Classified Docs (Compared to Trump)

As we reported earlier, there was a big bombshell announcement that Joe Biden had about ten classified documents which had been discovered in his office at the Penn Biden Center in Washington, D.C. that Biden used between 2017 and 2020.

The documents were allegedly discovered on Nov. 2, 2022, according to Fox, just six days before the critical midterm elections. Biden’s attorneys then allegedly told the National Archives who took possession of the documents on Nov. 3. The National Archives then notified the Department of Justice. Either way, the public was not told about this find until Monday, Jan. 9, 2023.

Attorney General Merrick Garland has now appointed U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of Illinois John Lausch to review the matter, according to CBS News.

Now this news just dropped. But already, you have members of the media spinning in a way that helps Joe Biden.

Here’s Jon LeMire, Politico White House Bureau Chief and MSNBC host claiming it’s 1) a far smaller amount, and 2) these were turned over when discovered.

LeMire missed some other differences.

Joe Biden wasn’t president, he didn’t have a right to declassify anything, like President Donald Trump. What was Biden even doing with these documents to which he didn’t have a right?

“Turned over when discovered?” How do we know that? How do we know when they were discovered? These weren’t “turned over” until years after they were taken. If he took them after he left the vice presidency that was Jan. 20, 2017. So that’s almost six years.

Then why are we finding out about it now when it was discovered before the election? Are we once again, talking about an effort to hide information from us so that we don’t know before we vote? It sure sounds like it.

I get LeMire wants to create a double standard here and suggest that what Biden did was somehow better. But let’s hear what Joe Biden said when he was talking about the documents at Mar-a-Lago.

Then there was this effort to call it a “small number.”

It isn’t the quantity, it’s the nature that it’s classified, guys. Isn’t that what we’ve been told about Mar-a-Lago? Plus, we don’t know how many other documents Biden has now, given that they found these. Are they going to be raiding his homes any time soon?

“How that could possibly happen? How anyone could be that irresponsible? And I thought what data was in there that would maybe compromise sources and methods?” Biden told 60 Minutes in regard to Trump. “And it just – totally irresponsible.”

I guess he knows how anyone could be “that irresponsible” given that he did it, without any of the excuses that Trump as president has in terms of presidential records and classification.
