It’s a tough time to be a little kid, during the Joe Biden era.
We’ve seen all kinds of supply shortages and crises, but somehow it’s worse when it hits our kids. First, there was a diaper shortage, then there was the baby formula shortage which is still lingering. Now stores are running out and shelves are empty when it comes to children’s pain medication. Parents are getting panicky over the national shortage and having a tough time finding anything.
CBS reports parents across the country are "panicking" over a drastic shortage of children's pain medicine — something the Biden administration spent months insisting wasn't an issue. pic.twitter.com/Fq71Es9tZF

That of course is leading to a further run on the medications because parents fear that they wouldn’t find anything when they need it, so stores are limiting the amount that anyone can buy. That in turn tends to feed the panic.
It’s also more than just the children’s medications as this pharmacist explains, including antibiotics and diabetic medication as well.
Pharmacies are "seeing shortages in almost everything, from children’s medicine, behavioral medication, antibiotics — and the leading shortage is in diabetic medication."

This has been going on for a while without Joe Biden saying anything.
Here was Dr. Ashish Jha claiming in November there have been “supply chain issues” going on for “decades.”

Funny though how suddenly, we’re feeling this problem under Biden, if it’s been going on for “decades.”
Biden’s team needs to get together on their messaging since White House Chief of Staff Ron Klain is downplaying supply chain issues, acting as though that was a made-up thing, saying the media was “inventing” panics. That doesn’t exactly assure you that they know what they’re doing to solve any issues.
Meanwhile, White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre couldn’t say if Joe Biden had been briefed on the topic and claimed that there were “strong supply chains for these products.”

I’m so confused. So which is it? Strong supply chains, no panic due to the supply chains, supply chain problems for decades? Sounds like we just got three different answers there. But that’s the problem with the Biden administration, you can’t trust what they have to say.
Fox’s Dr. Marc Siegel pointed to one big issue that if true, deserves a lot of attention.
When the huge outbreak of influenza hit this fall, the anti-flu drug Tamiflu was released from the national stockpile, but where was the Tylenol? By some estimates, over 90% of our imported ibuprofen and over 70% of our imported acetaminophen come from China, as well as a large chunk of the active pharmaceutical ingredients for the drugs that are made here.
Clearly, we need to manufacture our staple medicines here and not rely on other countries, especially one like China, which has been completely unreliable in terms of the supply chain. It also has experienced its own panicked hoarding of these same products following the imposed lockdowns which interfered with manufacturing.
USAntibiotics (sole manufacturer of Amoxicillin brand products):
80% of all antibiotics & many medications are produced in India, China or overseas.
That puts the US at substantial risk of not having these medications, but it's also a public health & national security risk. https://t.co/iq6s3SlXET pic.twitter.com/dMXuiR1Hgo

So no, Joe Biden, that doesn’t mean buying more from China, as you did with the COVID tests, giving them a ton of our money. That means that we need to disconnect more from China and make our own supplies that cannot be adversely affected by outside forces. Of course, this isn’t something he understands with oil and gas, why should he understand it when it comes to medications?
Meanwhile, Biden is silent on the matter, living it up in St. Croix, without a care in the world, playing golf, and losing his ball in the woods. That says it all.
