On Wednesday, Elon Musk announced that any account doxxing people in real time would be suspended.

Any account doxxing real-time location info of anyone will be suspended, as it is a physical safety violation. This includes posting links to sites with real-time location info.

Posting locations someone traveled to on a slightly delayed basis isn’t a safety problem, so is ok.

“Any account doxxing real-time location info of anyone will be suspended, as it is a physical safety violation,” Musk said. “This includes posting links to sites with real-time location info.” If the information wasn’t real-time, he said that was okay. “Posting locations someone traveled to on a slightly delayed basis isn’t a safety problem, so is ok.”

He followed that up shortly thereafter, explaining how his family had been followed by a “crazy stalker” on Tuesday night who thought he was in the car. But the car contained Musk’s toddler son. According to Musk, the stalker even climbed onto the hood of the car.

Sweeney is a reference to Jack Sweeney who ran multiple accounts, including @ElonJet which tracked Musk’s comings and goings.

The left has been melting down all day about ElonJet being suspended and was completely fine with Musk being doxxed, claiming that ElonJet was only using “public information.” So if something had happened to Musk’s child, would they have cheered that too? But that’s where they are, at this point. This was their reaction to the tweet about his child. They didn’t give a darn about it.

They don’t seem to care about what might be the result of their demonization of Musk, just like they didn’t care about the consequences of demonizing President Donald Trump.
