There’s currently a nationwide shortage of baby formula. That’s making some families desperate to find it for their babies.
Fox’s Harris Faulkner has been trying to call attention to the problem, calling the effort #operationwarpfeedmybaby.
Parents need help. As a journalist I know that shining a light on a crisis Americans respond. 🇺🇸

Faulkner and Asman talked about the fundamental differences in the way that President Donald Trump approached problems versus Joe Biden — that Trump mobilized things, including the private sector to get things done, to get the vaccine developed in record time.
Meanwhile, White House Deputy Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre (soon to take over the top spot from White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki) claimed it was a “top priority” of Joe Biden.

But then when she was asked about who was the person in charge of the issue, she laughed and couldn’t say.
Q: “Who’s running point on the formula [shortage] at the White House?”

The Biden team has been losing parents over mandates, CRT, and gender instruction in schools. Now add to that — baby formula.
Meanwhile, some of the blue-checked left were mocking concerns from parents about baby formula, because even that, they make political. Amy Siskind is an “activist and author” while Amy Benhoff writes for the Huffington Post.
And don’t forget the baby formula shortage! OMG!

Imagine you’re so locked into defending Joe Biden that you think it’s just cool to laugh at the difficulty of mothers desperate to find baby formula. Not a good look here, guys, can you be more despicable?
This is what they are laughing at — moms like this.
Moms are facing a "terrifying" shortage of baby formula, which has "become impossible to find" as Biden's supply chain crisis persists pic.twitter.com/vOsypBfN0u

40 to 50 percent of the brands were sold out in 26 states last week. While some of it is due to a recall in February, it’s been ongoing because of supply chain issues since last July. Some parents are driving hours for formula and searching through every store they can find. It’s hardest on the kids who suffer from intolerance issues. And now they’ve discovered that the FDA-ordered recall may have been done in error.
But now, on top of that insensitivity and a failure to take decisive action on the issue, there’s a new report that the Biden Administration is making it a top priority to get “pallets” of baby formula — to illegal aliens at holding facilities, according to Rep. Kat Cammack (R-FL).
The first photo is from this morning at the Ursula Processing Center at the U.S. border. Shelves and pallets packed with baby formula.
The second is from a shelf right here at home. Formula is scarce.

“They are sending pallets, pallets of baby formula to the border,” said Republican Rep. Kat Cammack in one of two online postings yesterday. “Meanwhile, in our own district at home, we cannot find baby formula,” she added, holding a photo of empty shelves where the formula would be.
Cammack said that a border agent sent her photographs of the deliveries, and she posted one online.
“They’re receiving pallets and more pallets of baby formula at the border,” she said holding one of the photos showing both Advantage brand formula and Gogo Squeez applesauce. “This was taken at Ursula processing facility [in McAllen, Texas] where thousands are being housed and processed and then released,” said Cammack.
She said the agent told her: “‘Kat, you would not believe the shipment I just brought in.’ He has been a border patrol agent for 30 years and he has never seen anything quite like this. He is a grandfather and he is saying that his own children can’t get baby formula.” [….]
“I don’t know about you, but if I am a mother, anywhere anytime in America, and I go to my local Walmart or Target or Publix or Safeway or Kroger or wherever it may be that you shop and you are seeing their shelves and you are seeing signs that you are not able to get baby formula. And then you see the American government sending by the pallet thousands and thousands of containers of baby formula to the border, that would make my blood boil,” she said.
She added: “It is not the childrens’ fault at all. But what is infuriating to me is that this is another example of the America last agenda that the Biden administration continues to perpetuate.”
So much for being the “top priority” of the Biden Administration. The supply chain issues have been going on since last year and they continue — one more thing that Biden appears unable to deal with.
