WATCH: AOC Doubles Down on the Weird With New Video

Let’s face it, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) has some issues beyond her socialism.

She went all-in on the bizarre the other day when she claimed — in response to criticism of her hypocrisy for partying in the free state of Florida while she backs masks and mandates in her own city — that critics were sexually obsessed with her or wanted to date her.

Now, we get that a politician when caught being hypocritical might want to deflect from her failings but that was just weird. She didn’t help herself at all, she just made herself seem crazier in the bargain.

Conservative commentator Mary Katherine Ham did a hilarious send-up of AOC, mocking her self-absorption.

So has AOC tempered the weirdness after getting mocked for it? Well, no, she’s a socialist, remember? They are never satisfied and it’s always and only about them. Never mind the little kids forced to eat outside on the ground in the cold in New York City at school because of the COVID fear porn that folks like AOC subscribe to. She doubled down and put out a video — not about good government or concern for the children — but about…her boyfriend’s feet and how Republicans must be obsessed with them. I’d say that she behaves like a 12-year-old girl, but that would be an insult to 12-year-old girls.

AOC posted a bizarre video to Instagram saying she was going to give Republicans what they wanted.

‘So we recently went to Florida, where Republicans developed an obsession with Riley’s feet,’ Rep. Ocasio-Cortez said in the video, as she panned the camera down to his shoes as he walked ahead of her in an apparent parking garage.

She added, shouting: ‘So give the people what they want!’

Her boyfriend, Riley Roberts, was heard laughing in the background.

This is how a member of Congress is conducting herself? How old is she? She’s supposed to be 32.

Notice also how she’s wearing a mask when she appears to only be near her boyfriend. So I’m curious. What’s changed here from not wearing a mask in a packed drag brunch crowd in Florida vs. wearing a mask in what looks like a pretty empty garage in New York? It’s not the science — the science is the same in either state. What’s changed is the silliness in New York and that she’s all for it. And that’s what the criticism was about. The fact that she deflects — to feet, to weird self-absorption, to lies about Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis being missing — shows that not only does she have issues that need to be addressed but she isn’t interested in addressing criticisms or concerns from Americans in a serious manner.
