A California teacher created a stir on social media when she posted a video that was picked up by “Libs on TikTok,” an account that posts about the odd, leftist TikTok videos.

The teacher, later identified as Kristin Pitzen of Newport Mesa School District in Orange County, recorded herself giggling about how she’d hidden the American flag from her class so they couldn’t pledge allegiance to it because it made her “uncomfortable.” But as an alternative, she suggested they could pledge allegiance to the pride flag that she had on the wall.

“Okay, so during third period, we have announcements and they do the Pledge of Allegiance,” Pitzen said. “I always tell my class, stand if you feel like it, don’t stand if you feel like it, say the words if you want, you don’t have to say the words. So, my class decided to stand but not say the words…Except for the fact that my room does not have a flag,” she said, laughing her head off, “because it made me uncomfortable.”

“In the meantime, I tell this kid, ‘We do have a flag in the class that you can pledge your allegiance to. And he like, looks around and goes, ‘Oh, that one?'” and points to the pride flag.

Here she is, saying she “pledges allegiance to the queers.”

How do they have a person like this in charge of teaching children, when she’s so twisted and disrespectful?

Now, you might wonder how the school in these times — when so much of the educational arena is just flat-out rabid left — might respond.

But it sounds like her school may be taking it seriously, according to Fox News.

“We are aware of this incident and are investigating. While we do not discuss employee related matters, we can tell you that showing respect and honor for our nation’s flag is a value that we instill in our students and an expectation of our employees. We take matters like this seriously and will be taking action to address it,” public relations officer for the district, Annette Franco, told Fox News.

She talks about choice. But, she was disrespectful both to the school and to the kids. She took away their choice and their options, in order to impose her own will — obviously without telling the school.

Many people were troubled by the obvious indoctrination, not to mention how twisted and giggly she was about it all. People also found this especially upsetting, given the killing this past week of 13 members of the military in the suicide attack in Afghanistan.

Patricia speaks for all of us here. It comes down to priorities, and what’s important.
