Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY) just got the boot from her leadership position in the GOP, as we reported earlier. She was kicked out on a voice vote.
But she proved that she still hadn’t learned her lesson, attacking President Donald Trump, even after the vote.
Liz Cheney going on a warpath to try to keep Trump out of the White House instead of focusing on holding Biden accountable says everything about her. Like her dad she’s more interested in fighting endless wars than she is in helping voters who elected her.pic.twitter.com/kAuZJoYIbN

We see everything going up in flames under Joe Biden, and Cheney is still focused on attacking Trump and thinking that anyone other than Democrats and the liberal media is happy to hear from her or interested in her opinion in the future. She still thinks she has some kind of future as a Republican leader in a fight to be divisive. It’s delusional, when we’re in an existential battle for the soul of the nation with the Democrats. Unless the whole point behind it is to hand all power to the Democrats. Then it makes sense.
You could see that with the reactions with the Democrats coming to Cheney’s defense. Both the execrable Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) and the deplorable Hillary Clinton used Cheney’s words to attack Trump and the Republicans.
House Republicans just ousted Liz Cheney from leadership.
Because they’re now the party of lies, with one lie bigger than the rest.
She stated a simple fact: The election was not stolen.
In a party that places loyalty to Trump over principle, there is no room for the truth.— Adam Schiff (@RepAdamSchiff) May 12, 2021
Given a choice between defending American democracy and abandoning all reality and principle for Donald Trump, the GOP has once again chosen Donald Trump. https://t.co/jWJVKIn1FN

Imagine these two liars thinking they have any standing at all to talk about the truth. All they care about is getting power. Hillary Clinton still hasn’t accepted that she lost the 2016 election fair and square.
When even Sen. Susan Collins (R-ME) who voted to convict Trump in the Senate, said it was time to move on, you knew that Cheney had been kneecapped and didn’t even have the moderates in her corner. It had become a pure distraction.
President Donald Trump was not shy when it came to weighing in on Cheney getting the ax. As one might expect, it was vintage Trump.

Trump noted how she had become “a talking point for Democrats,” that she was a “warmonger” and that her family had “pushed us into the never-ending Middle East Disaster.” Then he really finished her off with what you know is coming next for her. “I look forward to soon watching her as a Paid Contributor on CNN or MSDNC.”
Trump touches on something that really is the reason he gets Cheney’s goat — because he’s called out the war machine and her dad’s involvement in it. The “endless wars” was one thing he was trying to dismantle when he was in office.
Trump’s prediction of Cheney’s future sounds dead-on, that’s exactly what’s likely to happen. Trump is more popular in Wyoming than is Cheney. There’s no doubt that she has a primary challenge coming and she may not have her seat long.
The Never Trump folks of the Republican Party inveighed against Trump’s “mean tweets” but ignored the actual policies that greatly benefitted our country. They were willing to throw all of that under the bus for Grandpa Disaster to get into power. It’s only four months in and we can see what a mess that’s going to be, how Biden is already lighting the world on fire. We told them but they didn’t listen. People like Liz Cheney still aren’t listening. That 2022 election may be a massive reckoning when Americans come back and give Democrats and Never Trump folks the further boot they deserve for all this.
