New York Is Going to Pay ‘Undocumented Immigrants’ an Incredible Amount of Money for Not Working During Pandemic

At a time when workers are still struggling, after lockdowns by politicians have kneecapped a lot of jobs and the economy, New York somehow knows exactly the thing to do to stick the knife right in and twist.

New York is going to offer one-time payments of up to $15,600 to “undocumented immigrants” who lost work during the pandemic but can’t get it through other relief methods. The effort — a $2.1 billion fund in the state budget — is by far the biggest of its kind in the U.S., the New York Times says.

I’ll bet. Why? Because there aren’t too many other states who would ever do such a thing, because politicians that would propose such a thing in most places would get booted out in the next election.

According to The NY Times, “Undocumented workers could receive up to $15,600, the equivalent of $300 per week for the last year, if they can verify that they were state residents, ineligible for federal unemployment benefits and lost income as a result of the pandemic.”

So they could get far more than some Americans got from the government through stimulus payments. Americans get $1400, illegal aliens could get $15,600? It’s supposed to replace the unemployment benefits that they wouldn’t be able to get.

Not surprisingly, this infuriated people.

Yup. It isn’t just the government paying for it, it’s the government paying for it with our tax dollars.

It even flipped some folks who said they’d always voted for Democrats.

Welcome to the sane side of the tracks.
