Hannity Asks 'Who's Really In Charge' As He Points to Actions Kamala Harris Is Taking

There have been a lot of questions about Joe Biden’s cognitive condition, him putting off doing any one on one presser with the media and him not doing the traditional address to the joint session of Congress that he himself said he would be doing this month.

Then came the reports that some Democrats didn’t want him to have the sole control of the nuclear codes.

On top of all that, people are now noticing the Kamala Harris is being asked to do things that would normally be the responsibility of Biden, such as talking on the phone with and meeting with foreign leaders.

Politico framed it as Biden trying to help her catch up in an area she doesn’t have a lot of experience in and wants to concentrate on as a specialty.

So Harris was involved in Biden’s meeting with the Canadians, Biden’s first bilateral meeting, something Biden himself didn’t get to do, according to Politico. Harris also called the director-general of the World Health Organization to talk about the Wuhan coronavirus response and she’s held solo calls with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and French President Emmanuel Macron.

But some folks, like Sean Hannity, are looking at it more as helping Harris take over such responsibilities.

From Fox News:

“Biden is now reportedly encouraging his vice president to engage directly with world leaders — that would be his job — and by the way, even develop her own rapport with U.S. allies. Harris has also been meeting weekly with Secretary of State Anthony Blinken. So the question tonight is, why?”

Hannity added: “If Joe Biden is not up to the task, well, we know that he rarely appears in public, we know that he takes very few questions. We know he hasn’t even scheduled a joint session of Congress for the State of the Union address.” [….]

“We can all see with our own eyes that Joe is frail, he is weak, and yes, he’s struggling cognitively,” Hannity said.

“Even a few dozen Democrats now are trying to take away the nuclear codes from Joe Biden so it’s not in the hands of just him, one person … and his vice president now holding one on one calls with other world leaders. So what’s really going on here? Who’s in charge? And by the way, should we be concerned?”

What someone does in that position is always variable depending upon the people in the administration. However, it’s very clear that Biden has not done the normal things done by this point, like the address to Congress and the one on one presser, and that when he does emerge, he’s stumbling over his words a lot. It’s not sounding good at this point.
