Trump Derangement Syndrome seems to have driven many around the bend.
Or maybe it’s just that it exposed the folks that were always off.
President Donald Trump was at a rally in Ohio on Saturday. One of the things that was particularly striking was that right behind him were three nuns in MAGA masks, with rosaries who were intermittently praying and really getting into the event.

These nuns behind Trump at his Ohio rally right now make him look so much more badass. pic.twitter.com/7cDFNE3pzH

Now, it’s not hard to see why nuns might be supportive of Trump, an incredibly pro-life president, along with a lot of the other things he’s done.
But what was the reaction of some on the left and Never Trump resisters?
They immediately started attacking the nuns for being there. Some even suggested they weren’t really nuns. Others suggested that it was somehow illegal for them to be there and that the tax exemption of their order or the Catholic Church should be pulled.
But one person had a particularly vile reaction to the nuns being there.
Peter Vroom is a Never Trumper resister who apparently used to be a Republican congressional staffer but now describes himself as a “former Republican.” He found the nuns being there “bizarre and disgusting” and then went about trying to dox them.
Bizarre and disgusting. Positioning nuns wearing MAGA masks directly behind @realDonaldTrump at his Ohio rally. Are they praying for the hundreds of thousands of COVID deaths Trump is responsible for? pic.twitter.com/VossnghjnP

The 3 nuns attending Trump's rally in Ohio today are from the order of the Children of Mary in Cincinnati, OH. Here's a comparison of their picture from the rally today without face masks and a picture from their website. I am not using their names.https://t.co/MirzY3KzDc pic.twitter.com/HYMnlfiwHF

He named their order and their location, which is basically the same as posting their address, and then even posted pictures they had on social media.
He then tried to blame Breitbart when he got blowback. But Breitbart wasn’t inciting people against them, didn’t post their pictures from their convent with their masks off or post the city the convent was in.
The Trumpists are riled up tonight after I confirmed a Breitbart story that identified the OH Trump rally nuns as real and not Halloween nuns, from the Children of Mary order. When I told them my source was Breitbart, a lot of wind went out of their sails.https://t.co/aPkVSnBiQI

Tom Arnold even chimed in, accusing the nuns, who spend their whole lives praying for others, of “showboating.”
Theyβre in the front row dude. Showboating.

Imagine anyone thinking that it’s a good thing to try to go after nuns for exercising their constitutional rights? And no, you ignorant leftists, it’s not illegal for them as individuals to express their opinions, they have the same rights as anyone else. There are now people posting against the nuns on social media because of this character and others.
There’s something disgusting here, but it’s not from the nuns.
This, of course, isn’t the first time that the Democrats have gone after nuns. The Obama/Biden administration even sued the Little Sisters of the Poor who spend their whole lives just caring for others. Like the Children of Mary, they apparently were guilty of wrong think which the Democrats must attack and put down.
But remember if you are expressing the right political opinion, then you will be approved of by leftists and people like Vroom.
My kind of nun…https://t.co/8uGcmiVU17

They approve of what that nun is doing when she’s expressing her constitutional rights and her order shouldn’t have their tax status stripped because she’s doing what they like.
Do they not get how hypocritical and disgusting they are with stuff like this?
