One of the things that has always made America great it the peaceful transfer of presidential power. Unlike other places, we haven’t had a banana republic, but candidates of all parties have accepted the results of the election.
Indeed Hillary Clinton even tried to chastise Donald Trump over the mere possibility that he might not accept the result of the election.
Donald Trump refused to say that he’d respect the results of this election.
That’s a direct threat to our democracy.

This despite her effort and that of the DNC behind the scenes to undermine Trump with Russian disinformation from the Steele dossier. Then she and her party spent the next three years spreading the ridiculous Russia hoax, when she knew that she’d essentially paid to spread much of that.
So if we can already see Democrats throwing everything but the kitchen sink out there to win, what will happen if Trump wins?
Turns out they’ve already been gaming the possibilities and what to do if certain scenarios occur, according to Ben Smith of the New York Times.
But conveniently, a group of former top government officials called the Transition Integrity Project actually gamed four possible scenarios, including one that doesn’t look that different from 2016: a big popular win for Mr. Biden, and a narrow electoral defeat, presumably reached after weeks of counting the votes in Pennsylvania. For their war game, they cast John Podesta, who was Hillary Clinton’s campaign chairman, in the role of Mr. Biden. They expected him, when the votes came in, to concede, just as Mrs. Clinton had.
But Mr. Podesta, playing Mr. Biden, shocked the organizers by saying he felt his party wouldn’t let him concede. Alleging voter suppression, he persuaded the governors of Wisconsin and Michigan to send pro-Biden electors to the Electoral College.
In that scenario, California, Oregon, and Washington then threatened to secede from the United States if Mr. Trump took office as planned. The House named Mr. Biden president; the Senate and White House stuck with Mr. Trump. At that point in the scenario, the nation stopped looking to the media for cues, and waited to see what the military would do.
Once upon a time, like 2015, I would have anyone not conceding ridiculous, because after all we are the United States. But after seeing what’s been done over the past four years, after everything they’ve already been willing to do, it doesn’t seem all that way anymore. Especially if there’s massive mail-in voting like Democrats want, which wouldn’t have a winner tallied up possibly for days. That’s a recipe for chaos.
What would the left do if they lost again? Just the postulation by Podesta shows how over the slide they’ve gone.
They also postulated what would happen if Trump lost and refused to concede that he lost, even though it’s only Democrats who have taken that tact.
From Boston Globe:
“All of our scenarios ended in both street-level violence and political impasse,” said Rosa Brooks, a Georgetown law professor and former Defense Department official who co-organized the group known as the Transition Integrity Project. She described what they found in bleak terms: “The law is essentially … it’s almost helpless against a president who’s willing to ignore it.”
Again it’s only been folks on the left who have been violent over election results. There was Antifa violence in 2016 and on Inauguration Day, after Trump won the first time. Would there be any doubt we would see a meltdown of greater proportions?
Translation: Democrats sound like they’re preparing not to accept the results.
Podesta presupposing voter suppression in an election that hasn’t happened yet and arguing it in a make believe scenario gives the entire game away. It’s their fallback no matter what. https://t.co/QJNLD7cM0l

This is what happens when Democrats don't punish people who refuse to accept the results, like Abrams.
They would rather destroy the peaceful transition of power…the most important thing in history arguably…rather than lose an election.
