Rashida Tlaib: Follow Your Gut Rather Than Recommendations of Task Force/Health Experts

Imagine if President Donald Trump said ignore the scientists on his White House Task Force like Dr. Anthony Fauci and Dr. Deborah Birx?

The media has already flipped out, accusing him of doing so, even though he’s never said that and they have said he’s always listened to their recommendations.

From Townhall:

“The first and only time that Dr. Birx and I went in and formally made a recommendation to the president to actually have a ‘shutdown,'” Fauci said earlier this month.

“Obviously there would be concern by some and, in fact, that might have some negative consequences. Nonetheless, the president listened to the recommendation and went to the mitigation,” he explained. “The next second time I went with Dr. Birx in to the president and said 15 days are not enough, we need to go 30 days, obviously, there were people who had a problem with that because of the potential secondary effects. Nonetheless, at that time, the president went with the health recommendations and we extended it another 30 days.”

But if he did, you know you’d see an media implosion and days of attacks on how horrible he is.

So what mainstream media reaction will there be to Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) telling people that they should follow their guts rather than the advice of the task forces.

Tlaib appeared on MSNBC with Joy Reid and told people what they should do in regard to the Wuhan coronavirus.

“I would push back and, no matter what these decisions, and these other folks on these task force that are being put together,” Tlaib said. “Your gut feeling, follow that. It probably is much more credible than what you might be seeing coming out of various administrations.”

She also told workers they should stay home if they felt unsafe going to work.

Will she suffer any push back at all from media? Will they call her out for being irresponsible? For “ignoring science?”

You already know that they wouldn’t. She has Democratic immunity, proving once again the media hypocrisy.
