It’s official: Chris Christie and Mike Huckabee will be in the undercard debate, and George Pataki and [mc_name name=’Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC)’ chamber=’senate’ mcid=’G000359′ ] will not be at the debates at all. That leaves eight people on the top debate on November 10th (Bush, Carson, Cruz, Fiorina, Kasich, Paul, Rubio, and Trump) and four in the undercard (Christie, Huckabee, Jindal, and Santorum). …This is almost starting to become manageable.
And before anyone says anything: yup, the system that we’ve got going on here seems to be highly subjective, based on weird polling assumptions, and is currently causing good conservative Republicans to tear out their hair in perfectly justified frustration. But look on the bright side. At least our debate process isn’t going to inevitably assign us Hillary Clinton as the nominee. That’s worth… quite a lot, really.
