In this episode of Even More Ominous News from Biden's Border Crisis...
Deputies of rightly-embattled Joe Biden's Department of Homeland Security are, as I write, searching for at least 50 illegal aliens who were delivered to the U.S. by a smuggling network with a claimed tie to the Islamic State jihad network.
Think that through.
Now, NBC News, no doubt disappointed by the timing of the official leak, reported, just two days before the first presidential debate:
The Department of Homeland Security has identified over 400 immigrants who have come to the U.S. from Central Asia and elsewhere as “subjects of concern” because they were brought by an ISIS-affiliated human smuggling network, three U.S. officials tell NBC News.
While over 150 of them have been arrested, the whereabouts of over 50 remain unknown, the officials said, and Immigration and Customs Enforcement is looking to arrest them on immigration charges when they are located.
The obvious alarm comes as a result of Biden’s intentional policy to admit millions of unidentifiable illegal alien men from more than 150 countries around the world, including tens of thousands from Afghanistan, the home base for Al Qaeda’s attack on the Twin Towers in 2001.
According to a senior Biden administration official, per NBC:
In this case, it was the information that suggested a potential tie to ISIS because of some of the individuals involved in [smuggling migrants to the border] that led us to want to take extra care, and out of an abundance of caution make sure that we exercised our authority in the most expansive and appropriate way to mitigate risk because of this potential connection being made.
Interesting that the (presumed) dude said "led us to take extra care," given that his boss has intentionally, since day one of his disastrous presidency, imported as many illegal aliens as he could —vetting be damned — with the more-than-eager assistance of equally serial-lying DHS head Alejandro Mayorkas.

Here's more:
Many of the more than 400 migrants crossed the southern border and were released into the U.S. by Customs and Border Protection because they were not on the government’s terrorism watchlist, according to the three officials, and the agency did not have information raising concerns at the time.
But recent terrorist attacks in Russia have fueled heightened concern about ISIS and its offshoot ISIS-K. In recent months, DHS has been looking more closely at migrants from Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Moldova, Kyrgyzstan, Georgia and Russia, countries where ISIS-K has been active.
"Looking more closely at migrants"? Yeah, oops.
Former FBI counterterrorism section chief Christopher O’Leary weighed in on the insanity:
The fact that the whereabouts were unknown is clearly alarming. I believe the [U.S.] is scrambling to locate these individuals, and using the immigration charges is not uncommon. They are in violation of that law. And if you need to take somebody off the street, that’s a good approach to do it.
No kidding? "Maybe" a better approach is to keep illegal aliens the hell out of the country in the first place.
