It Continues: Biden Administration to Screen Documentary Pushing for More 'Queer' Marine Biologists

Speaking to a fellow Democrat about Joe Biden becoming the party's 2020 nominee, Barack Obama famously warned: “Don’t underestimate Joe’s ability to f**k things up.”

Welp, dazed and confused Biden managed to "mess" up Easter weekend to the point of angering untold numbers of Christians across America by issuing a proclamation on Good Friday in which he sang the praises of Transgender Day of Visibility, 2024 — which this year fell on Easter Sunday.

At one point in the proclamation, Biden (his handlers) boldly declared:

NOW, THEREFORE, I, JOSEPH R. BIDEN JR., President of the United States of America, by virtue of the authority vested in me by the Constitution and the laws of the United States, do hereby proclaim March 31, 2024, as Transgender Day of Visibility.  I call upon all Americans to join us in lifting up the lives and voices of transgender people throughout our Nation and to work toward eliminating violence and discrimination based on gender identity.

Just one problem, Joe. Transgender Day of Visibility already existed.

Biden's "proclamation" didn't do a damn thing — other than make the embattled president and his administration feel even more self-righteous about their hypocritical, pandering selves.

The first Transgender Day of Visibility was "celebrated" on March 31, 2009, and has been observed every March 31 since; for 15 years.

Nevertheless, Biden's only made it worse by first crowing about the transgender "holiday" on Easter — only later in the day mentioning Easter. Christians across the country, including former President Donald Trump and Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis blistered Biden's pandering stunt.

So what does Biden do, then? On Monday he absurdly claimed he didn't issue the proclamation, delusionally saying: "I didn't do that." Damn. It's only matter of time, Joe, it's only a matter of time.

So then — you can't make this stuff up — we learned on Tuesday that the Biden administration’s Department of the Interior (DOI) is set to celebrate “transgender visibility” with a screening of a documentary about LGBTQ+ inclusion in marine biology, according to an internal email exclusively obtained by The Daily Wire.

Diving for Rays: A Queer Conservationist’s Story

The DOI, responsible for the management and conservation of federal land, announced it will host a screening of a documentary titled “Diving for Rays: A Queer Conservationist’s Story,” which details the experiences of Nicole Morris, a native of San Diego, California, who complains that the field of marine biology is dominated by straight men. (That's incorrect, which we'll get to in a minute.)

A description of the documentary, posted to the National Parks website, reads:

“All I was ever exposed to were documentaries that had the perspectives of straight men,” Morris bemoans in the documentary. “As I got older it became harder and harder to imagine myself in those films,” she says before later adding, “So I had to ask myself, Was marine science something that a queer woman could do?’”

OK hold the LGBTQ bus for a sec.

What on earth does being a queer woman have to do with the capability — or lack thereof— to perform the job requirements of a marine biologist, given that 69 percent of marine biologists in America are female and 31 percent are male?

(Author notes to himself: "Morris's credibility is already toast.")

The documentary details Morris's path to becoming a marine conservationist:

I think getting scuba-certified helped me to finally see myself for the first time. That helped me to see myself as both a marine conservationist and as a queer woman. I like to think that even though I might be different from most marine conservationists, my perspective as a queer woman in science is just as important.

“I am fully out," Morris says at the end of the documentary, "and I am fully proud and I am a queer marine conservationist."

In which order? The left incessantly demands inclusivity, yet they continually shine spotlights on disparate left-wing groups, as if to say "We want these people to be more included than others" — rather than obsessing and whining about their differences.

As for Ms. Morris, I'm sure she'll be a fine marine biologist if she chooses to enter the field — self-declared queeness, or not.
