Biden's Special Proclamation for Easter Sunday Isn't About Easter - It's About Transgender Visibility Day

Joe Biden seems intent on ticking off Christians on the holiest day of their calendar year.

As we reported earlier, the White House "recognized" Easter by forbidding kids in the Easter egg design contest from using any religious symbols or themes for their eggs. That's crazy when you're talking about a religious holiday. Plus it raises questions when you have the government discriminating against religious symbols/themes.

But apparently, they weren't quite done yet. Some folks also noticed the proclamation they put out on Good Friday to recognize the special day on March 31. Except the day that the White House and Biden were recognizing with the proclamation wasn't Easter; it was Transgender Visibility Day.

Adding that to the fact that the White House banned religious imagery from the art contest, people are not so sure that "Catholic" Biden is very Catholic, caring about the holy day.

Once again, Biden seems to have no sense of optics. Apart from the Easter Egg hunt and activities for kids, they have not as yet issued anything about Easter. Now, he will probably issue something tomorrow, but it will appear late and lacking, given what he's done so far. It should also be noted that he's not pulling the date out of thin air. March 31 is when "Transgender Day of Visibility" has been recognized each year since 2009. This is the fourth time that Biden has issued a proclamation on it. In fact, in his proclamation last year, he attacked "MAGA extremists," saying they were targeting transgender people with laws. This is the first proclamation he's issued on it that has coincided with Easter.

I think it's safe to say this approach isn't going over well and that a lot of people are upset.
