Regardless of Joe Biden’s many other self-created crises, tanking approval ratings, and multiple Democrat lawmakers now distancing themselves from the guy and his failed presidency, the Biden Border Crisis™ continues. In just one Texas border sector, some 52,000 illegal aliens crossed into the United States in August, alone, as the White House continues to lie about the “closed” border.

As reported exclusively by Breitbart on Saturday, Border Patrol agents apprehended more than 52,000 “migrants” who illegally crossed the Mexican border into the Texas-based Del Rio Sector in August, according to a source within U.S. Customs and Border Protection, an increase over the record-setting number of apprehensions set in July, in what has become the nation’s busiest Border Patrol sector. For those keeping score at home, 52,000 apprehensions average nearly 1,700 illegals per day.

I italicized apprehended above as a reminder that untold numbers of illegals continue to flow into the country, undetected. Yet Biden calls Donald Trump and MAGA a threat to America. Go figure.

A source operating under the umbrella of CBP told Breitbart Texas that agents in the Del Rio Sector apprehended nearly 1,700 migrants per day in August. This raised the number of migrants apprehended in the sector from 50,000 in July to more than 52,000 in August — an increase of four percent.

In August 2021, Del Rio Sector agents apprehended 32,362 migrants including more than 18,000 single adults, 13,000 unaccompanied minors, and 800 family units. The August 2022 apprehensions represent an increase of approximately 63 percent over the same month in 2021.

Moreover, the dangerous crossings across the Rio Grande into Eagle Pass and Del Rio, Texas, led to the deaths of dozens of illegals in August, alone.

In late August, a three-year-old boy and his three-month-old brother drowned after being swept away from their parents while crossing the river near Eagle Pass, Breitbart Texas reported. The toddler’s death and the near-drowning of an infant came on the heels of reports from Del Rio Sector officials of six other drowning deaths during a five-day period. According to Breitbart, the number of illegals who die while crossing the border near Eagle Pass, or shortly after, led a local funeral home to stop accepting migrant remains.

“When we have a large number of people in custody that puts us over our established capacity, we do have to collapse down some operations temporarily to decompress what we’re holding in custody,” Del Rio Sector Chief Patrol Agents Jason D. Owens told Breitbart. This reality removes agents from the border who could assist in preventing the drowning deaths of illegals, many of whom are young children, as the above examples show. This is inexcusable and it lies at the feet of Joe Biden.

Yet, unconscionably, Biden and his “border czar” Kamala Harris [ROFL emoji], remain full-metal crickets on the human catastrophe that Biden alone created, not to mention the damage being done to southern border towns, their residents, and across America, as well.

In response to the Biden administration’s purposeful failure to seal the southern border, as we reported in early July, the crisis has escalated to the tipping point, leading judges in multiple Texas counties to issue declarations of an invasion in response to unprecedented challenges from the escalating surge of illegal aliens into the Lone Star State.
