Democrat Obsession With Trump and 'Build Back Better' Blows up Like a Cheap Cigar

To paraphrase a line from the classic “Blazing Saddles,” America said to the Democrat Party on Tuesday:

“Build Back Better? We don’t need no stinking Build Back Better. And we sure as hell don’t need no stinking Democrat obsession with Donald Trump!”

Tuesday changed everything, America.

Across the fruited plain, on Capitol Hill, in the White House — and it cannot be overstated, in the coming 2022 midterm elections and the 2024 presidential election — voters in every competitive race in the country on Tuesday rejected Bidenism, Democrat obsession with Donald Trump, Critical Race Theory, and dismissing the rights of parents and their say in what their children are taught and with what they are not indoctrinated.

Yup, stick a fork in Biden’s America™.

Beginning with Republican Glenn Youngkin’s win over Terry McCauliffe in the Virginia gubernatorial race, continuing with the shocking still-too-close to call (as I write) results in the governor’s race in deep-blue New Jersey between incumbent Gov. Phil Murphy and Republican challenger Jack Ciattarelli — in a state Biden won by 16 points last November — and continuing in Texas, Wisconsin, and Minnesota, the message from voters was unmistakable: “We’re mad as hell at Democrats and we’re not going to take it anymore.”

In a word, “Build Back Better” has been reduced to smoldering ashes and Republicans have been charged with building over the top of those ashes — rebuilding, as it were — individual liberties, free speech, and the accountability of lawmakers and public officials to voters — to the American people.

Lawmakers and public officials who continue to ignore the rights of everyday Americans and reject accountability were put on notice — loud and clear: Straighten up your asses pronto or your asses will be shown the door at the earliest convenience. And don’t let the door hit ya on your way out.

Biden’s agenda is officially in deep crap.

After Tuesday night’s complete rejection of Biden’s disastrous agenda and by extension his pathetic presidency, there isn’t a Democrat on Capitol Hill who will run for re-election in 2022 on the platform that Terry McAuliffe stupidly and arrogantly rode a flaming defeat.

On the contrary, Democrats with a modicum of common sense — yes, that’s a tall order — will stay as far away from Bidenism and all things Corn Pop’s pal as they can. To do otherwise would be to follow in the disastrous footsteps of McAuliffe — and hopefully New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy.

Here’s the thing. Tuesday’s disastrous Democrat results were not due to Democrats failing to run like they always run — more against Republicans and Republican policies — but rather that they ran in support of Democrats (including themselves) and Democrat policies. Remember when Barack Obama was a perfect example. President “Hope and Change” declared the following? Me, too.

“There is not a liberal America and a conservative America – there is the United States of America. There is not a black America and a white America and Latino America and Asian America – there’s the United States of America.”

The reality was President “If I Had a Son He’d Look Like Trayvon” purposely divided America along racial lines at every opportunity — contrived or otherwise — arguably to a degree unseen since at least the Civil Rights era of the early 1960s. Yet in 2012, President “Hope and Change” was back, tweeting:

“There are no red states or blue states, just the United States.”

Incidentally, Biden — while not resorting to his usual go-to of verbatim plagiarism — “borrowed” from his former boss’s hollow proclamation during a hollow speech of his own in 2020:

“I’m running as a Democrat but I will govern as an American president. No red states, no blue states, just the United States.”

Uh-huh, sure he was.

As was the case with his hero before him, Biden on day one of his installation in the Oval Office purposely began to divide red states and blue states and hasn’t taken his foot off the divisive gas ever since, from the Biden Border Crisis to the Biden Oil Crisis to the Biden Gas Prices Crisis, Biden Inflation Crisis, Biden Supply Crisis — and every other disaster he continues to visit on Americans and this country.

On Tuesday, Joe Biden was put on notice. Enough is enough. Let’s hope his handlers refuse to listen and instead choose to continue doing exactly what they’ve done for almost 10 months. The reason being, the in-kind contributions of Biden and the Democrat Party have been and continue to be priceless to the cause of conservatism and conservatives everywhere.

Finally, lemme say the following — which will undoubtedly result in the familiar “hate comments” I get every time I have the gall to say it: Millions of 2020 votes were not-Trump votes rather than for-Biden votes.

That said, Joe Biden and the Democrat Party sorely mistook the 2020 election as a referendum on the Trump presidency and a mandate for radical left-wing change.

On Tuesday, that miscalculation blew up in their faces like a cheap cigar.
