It seems like every other day some specious Democrat governor, mayor, D.C. lawmaker, Speaker of the House, or Fredo gets caught with his or her hypocritical “Do as I say not as I do” pants down; because invariably it is these very Karens who admonish all of America to hole up in their homes until the threat of the COVID pandemic is over. Except for them.

Infuriating, isn’t it? But behind every hypocrite lies the potential for parody or satire — which is often the best way to burn these disingenuous asshats clowns to a charcoal briquette. Such is the case with the following video, compliments of op-ed writer Eddie Zipperer, which perfectly illustrates the sheer audacity of the “good for me but not for thee” crowd.

Lockdown-lover Austin Mayor Steve Adler was unavailable for comment, as my RedState colleague Kira Davis reported on Wednesday because he was too busy kicking back at his family timeshare in Cabo San Lucas.

Fox News contributor Lisa Boothe thought it was hilarious — the video, not the hypocritical mayor of Austin. Wait — maybe both.

The reason Eddie Zipperer nailed it is because, as I said at the top, these major-league hypocrites get nailed on a regular basis, one after the other.

In late November, Gavin Newsom, the dictatorial governor of The People’s Republic of California, was caught violating his draconian lockdown rules when he attended an exclusive private party, as RedState’s Jennifer Van Laar reported. Here are pics of Newsom & Co. dining at the fancy French Laundry.

Two weeks later, San Francisco Mayor London Breed was also caught violating his COVID rules, also at the French Laundry, and also reported by Jen Van Laar.

Earlier this week, RedState’s Brad Slager posted an up-to-date list of our favorite COVID hypocrites titled The List of Politicians Defying Their Own Lockdown Orders Is Extensive and Growing While They All Share the Same Menu Item.

And who can forget Fredo Cuomo, who in April released a silly video of himself triumphantly emerging from his basement after a bout with COVID? Just one problem. Fredo had already broken his “self-isolation” code earlier by traveling to his property in East Hampton — which was still under construction, so it wasn’t as if he was going there for the weekend or whatever.

Personally, my favorite hypocrite of the lot was Nancy Pelosi — who knows a thing or ten thousand about hypocrisy — who in September was captured on video with her mask down at a COVID-shuttered San Francisco hair salon — a salon which has been closed for months, because California.  Was Pelosi contrite? Hell no; she laughingly claimed she was set up” Even CNN’s Don Lemon thought her  silly “setup” excuse was “messed up.”

Hypocrites gonna hypocrite. And nobody “hypocrites” better and more often than liberals.
