Breaking: Paul Ryan Re-Elected Speaker of the House

In what many considered a “show vote” Paul Ryan won re-election to the position of Speaker of the House by a unanimous vote.

House Republicans broke the news via Twitter:

.@SpeakerRyan unanimously re-elected Speaker-Elect for the 115th Congress.

While this won’t be headline news for normal voters, this is another reminder for the Trump faithful that we don’t have Kings in this country.

Speaker Ryan has already sent out his response:
