Joe Biden's Legacy and the Ultimate American Betrayal

In my lifetime, I have seen several presidents and their administrations come and go, with some better or worse than others. However, during that time, I have never felt as lost and betrayed as I do now. Every presidential administration has its ups and downs, and its fair share of controversies. President Reagan had the Iran-Contra scandal, President Clinton had the Monica Lewinsky and Whitewater scandals, and President Obama had Operation Fast and Furious. All very serious, and all very well documented in the media; however, the press coverage was a little more sympathetic, or softer, for the Democratic presidents and their administrations. But the active cover-up and denial of former President Joe Biden's health was the ultimate betrayal by the American government and media.

Then came the presidential campaign for former President Joseph Biden in 2020, that's where it all changed. It was pretty clear to a large percentage of Americans that there was something off when it came to candidate Biden and his mental acuity. In public rallies, people took notice of his frequent gaffes when speaking, whether he was having a hard time completing sentences or his frequent stammering when he was speaking. The Democrat party and the liberal media went to bat for Joe, publicly defending him without any attempt at being objective and asking any questions that would challenge their narrative.

The next four years proved to be a masterclass show of media collusion with a political party to conceal, deny, discredit, and outright lie about the physical and mental health of the sitting president of the United States, the leader of the free world, the person that our allies look to for support and strength. It started slowly at first; closed circles of political media pundits were asking questions about the apparent lack, or severe infrequency, of cabinet meetings, Americans were wondering why the so-called "perfectly fine" president was either unwilling or unable to hold frequent press gaggles, or conferences. Instead, the administration relied heavily on the press secretary, or selected spokespersons for the president, to answer questions about the commander in chief.

As his presidency moved forward, more and more people were noticing an obvious decline in Biden's physical and mental health. He would frequently remove himself from the public eye, his press staff putting lids on several days a week. When Joe was seen in public, his gait appeared labored and weak, his strides were short, seemingly robotic.

Biden just does not look well here. His gait is labored and his back is hunched. When the camera shows him from the side up by the White House, he appears almost woozy, with a stutter in his step. This is a guy who has been laying up at the family home for the better part of five days. Where’s the energy?

As time went on, it was obvious that Americans were concerned about his physical and mental health, along with his ability to perform his duties without assistance. A poll of Americans showed that almost 64 percent of the country thought Biden was suffering from a serious form of mental illness, calls for the invocation of the 25th Amendment were a daily conversation in some political circles, even though the White House would deny and even attack any media question regarding it. Lying became the norm for Biden and everyone associated with him. By the time he had reached a halfway point in his presidency, the conversation about Biden and his health was at a fever pitch. Politicians, Republican and Democrat, were publicly asking for clarification on his health, demanding that he undergo a battery of medical tests to prove that he was fit for office. However, the loyal liberal media machine went into overdrive for the former president.

News networks like CNN, MSNBC, and ABC all dedicated their coverage of the obvious controversy in a glowing light for Biden. They mocked anyone who questioned his health, even attacking anyone who dared challenge their narrative. News publications like The Washington Post, The New York Times, and more all participated in the cover-up as well, as if it were being coordinated by the entire media and Democratic Party machine. Republican members of the House and Senate were being stonewalled by apparent White House gatekeepers, who would deny their requests for a sit-down with the president. Republicans had been mulling over whether or not to invoke the 25th Amendment for years, though no serious attempt was made to do so. Speaker of the House, Mike Johnson (R-LA), recalled when he found out for himself in person that President Biden was not in charge of his office, nor his mental faculties.

By the time the reelection season officially started, the daily topic of conversation in the media and government was President Biden and his blatantly obvious decline in health. White House officials were in panic mode because now, Biden had to go out in public. And not only did he have to attend his reelection rallies, he had to speak at them. The entire country was asking if he was fit to serve another term, but the media machine went into overdrive to protect the president, and social media influencers were paid to flood social media with support for Biden and attack anyone questioning the narrative. Then came the first presidential debate with President Trump, which ended in disaster for Biden. His performance was just sad; he couldn't complete sentences, he stammered, and lost track of his thoughts. You could tell that Biden was frustrated and angry with himself and at Trump, but there was nothing he could do.

After the debate, the media couldn't hold the line anymore. The cat was out of the proverbial bag, and there wasn't anything they could do to deny there was a problem; all they could do was to attack Trump in hopes that would keep the conversation about him and not Biden, but it didn't work. The rest is history; he bowed out and installed Vice President Kamala Harris as his successor, and she got blown out by Trump. Fast forward to today, and we can see the protective walls around former President Joe Biden have completely collapsed. Recently, some of the audio from Special Counsel Robert Hur's interview with Joe has been released, and it is scary listening to a man who is clearly not fully in charge of his mental faculties.

CNN's Jake Tapper wrote a tell-all book that details the cover-up of Biden's mental decline, something that Tapper himself actively and proudly took part in. As expected, he has been taken to task by conservative media pundits for his role in the cover-up and his trying to profit off of it because he is telling the truth now. Liberal pundits are furious with Tapper because he spilled the beans, and they can't continue covering for Biden. Tapper was cornered by Megyn Kelly on her show about it, and it went as well as you can expect:

Now, DNC Vice Chair David Hogg was caught on video claiming that former First Lady Jill Biden's Chief of Staff, Anthony Bernal, was calling the shots in the White House, not Joe Biden.

All this proves that the American media machine colluded and participated with the American government to lie to the people. The government and media machine lied, they cheated, and they kept a puppet in power to preserve their best interests. The lengths that they went to, to ensure that the public was denied an opportunity to verify that their elected president was fit for office, to deny members of the House and Senate the intelligence and informtion that could have allowed them to fulfill their obligations to their constituents and the Constitution, by invoking the 25th Amendment, was blatantly criminal. Former First Lady Jill Biden, in my opinion, was fully complicit in possible elder abuse and covering it up. The last time our government and media covered up and lied about something as big as this was the JFK assassination. I want people charged, I want people sent to prison, removed from power or office, all of it. Will that happen? Probably not, their too busy making money off of it, and our government will never allow itself to be held to account for it. I honestly do not think I can ever trust the government, little as I did, again.
