The Republican-led House Oversight Committee released its third tranche of Biden family bank records Wednesday, reintroducing the wealthy Russian widow Yelena Baturina back into the public record and detailing gifts sent by Hunter Biden‘s Kazakhstani oligarch sugar daddy Kenes Rakishev. Biden’s father, then Vice President of the United States Joe Biden, dined with each of them in 2014 and 2015 when they were in Washington.
“During Joe Biden’s vice presidency, Hunter Biden sold him as ‘the brand’ to reap millions from oligarchs in Kazakhstan, Russia, and Ukraine,” said Rep. James Comer (R.-Ky.), the committee’s chairman, in a statement accompanying the release of the bank records.
“President Biden is compromised or corrupt, and our national security is threatened,” Comer said.
“This is made clear by meals at Café Milano where then-Vice President Joe Biden dined with oligarchs from around the world who had sent money to his son,” the chairman said.

“It appears no real services were provided other than access to the Biden network, including Joe Biden himself—and Hunter Biden seems to have delivered,” Comer said.
The committee’s staff discovered payments to the Biden family and their confederates totaling more than $20 million from foreign sources, while Biden was one-heartbeat away from the Oval Office.
The committee staff also overcovered new details in how Baturina, one of the wealthiest women in the world, paid $3.5 million to a shell company affiliated with Hunter Biden and his partner Devon Archer called Rosemont Seneca Thornton. Then, $1 million was siphoned off to Archer, while the remnant went to another venture called Rosemont Seneca Bohai.
The committee said Hunter and Archer used RSB for other incoming foreign money transfers.
The committee staff also further developed the timeline for Hunter’s work history with the Ukrainian energy company Burisma.
In April 2014, Hunter was hired as legal counsel to Burisma, but later he met with Mykola Zlochevsky, Burisma’s owner, and Vadym Pozharsky, Burisma’s corporate secretary, at Lake Como, Italy. There, the men agreed to bring Hunter and Archer onto the board of directors for $1 million per annum.
Soon afterward, the vice president visited Ukraine after the payment to Hunter and Archer began, wired through Rosemont Seneca Bohai for further transfer to other accounts.
April 2014 was a decent month for Hunter because that is also when Kazakhstani oligarch Rakishev wired $142,300 to RSB. The committee staff determined that this was the exact price of Hunter’s new sportscar. Later, Hunter and Archer met Rakishev, a close ally of Kazakhstan Prime Minister Karim Massimov, in Kazakhstan with Burisma executives to effort a three-way partnership with a Chinese energy company.
Comer said he does not doubt that Biden’s father and son team was in a corrupt enterprise when the father served in the country’s second-highest office.
“It’s clear Joe Biden knew about his son’s business dealings and allowed himself to be the brand sold to enrich the Biden family while he was Vice President of the United States,” he said.
