A One-Minute Primer On All That's Wrong With The NLRB's Ambush Election Rules

NLRB picketing
It has been nearly one month since the union lawyers inside President Obama’s National Labor Relations Board foisted their so-called ambush elections on America’s union-free workplaces.

Despite the fact that unions were already winning nearly 70% of the NLRB elections, the NLRB’s “ambush election rules” went into effect on April 14th.

The Workforce Fairness Institute (WFI), an organization “committed to educating voters, employers, employees and citizens about issues affecting the workplace,” has made this video as a summary of much that is wrong with the NLRB’s new election rules.

The WFI is encouraging people to take action (here) to support employee privacy and end ambush elections.

One added note: Since union organizers are leagally allowed to (and often do) mislead workers into unionizing through a variety of tactics, including withholding vital information and making false promises, perhaps it is time for Congress to consider passing a Truth In Union Organizing Act.

Since the vast majority of Americans support the truth, like a “Truth in Adverstising” act that protects consumers, a Truth In Union Organizing Act, could create strong protections for workers who are misled into unions by unscrupulous union organizers.
