El-Sayed to Americans in 2018 Video: 'You May Not Hate Muslims, but Muslims for Sure Hate You'

Whenever a Muslim Democrat candidate hits the campaign trail, you can be sure to hear a familiar catch-phrase: "Islamophobia."

Beneath this term is the accusation: 'You are bigoted, and therefore, unjustly afraid of Muslims.'

Yet you never hear the reverse accusation against Muslim Democrats: They suffer from "Americaphobia."

The Democrat Party's new wave of extremist candidates embody this concept like none other.

Abdul El-Sayed, the Michigan Senate candidate, is pushing the envelope in a way even the U.S. Postal Service would find disturbing.

Unearthed video from 2018 reveals El-Sayed making extremely inflammatory statements.

Abdul El-Sayed says, “ You may not hate Muslims, but Muslims for sure hate you.”

"You may not hate Muslims, but Muslims for sure hate you,” El-Sayed said, as quoted in an article in The Detroit News.

El-Sayed also opposed a ban on sharia law being imposed in the United States, in remarks at a Council of Islamic-American Relations event in Oklahoma in 2022.

El-Sayed said, according to the transcript:

“Now, I had planned to keep that to be the history that I would cover as we talk about our future. But I was reminded actually about events that I remember because I was an adult when they happened. And that was question 755 when the state of Oklahoma voted in a referendum to amend the constitution to ban Sharia law.
"What does that mean? I don’t know. And yet the voters banned it anyway. What I offer today is just a reflection on the American history that runs through this state.
"You all sitting in this room in this town. We’re sitting in a space in a time when I don’t have to tell you that the same exact forces that drove native peoples from their land two centuries ago, destroyed Black Wall Street a century ago, bombed a building decades ago, and tried to ban Sharia not a decade ago, that those forces are alive and well today.
"And the reason I wanted to go all the way back to the 1830s is because you can’t understand a Sharia ban without understanding the Trail of Tears. You can’t understand the efforts to uproot Muslim Americans without understanding the Tulsa massacre.You cannot understand the challenges we face today without understanding white supremacy.”

Republican Rep. Nancy Mace (SC-01) slammed El-Sayed's implicit support of sharia law in the United States:

"Here is Abdul El Sayed clearly advocating for Sharia Law in the U.S.," she said. "VOTE LIKE OUR LIVES DEPEND ON IT."

As Ben Smith covered for RedState earlier in August, El-Sayed has been on the radar of counter-terrorism experts, who believe he may have ties to the Muslim Brotherhood.

The findings surfaced the afternoon after El-Sayed narrowly defeated Democrat Rep. Haley Stevens (MI-11) in the Democrat primary. He will face Trump-backed former congressman Mike Rogers, an Army veteran, in November.
The donor list includes several senior CAIR figures, including national Board Chair Manal Fakhoury, national Board Treasurer Eyas Abdeen, national Vice Chair Emad Sabbah, and CAIR-Michigan board member Jukaku Tayeb, El-Sayed’s father-in-law. Tayeb has also been one of the largest financial supporters of a super PAC backing El-Sayed.
The report did not allege that the donations were illegal or that CAIR itself contributed to the campaign. The scrutiny centers on the donors' positions within an organization that has faced long-running allegations about links to Hamas and the Muslim Brotherhood.

Abdul El-Sayed may thus be one of the most dangerous Democrat candidates yet. You know it's bad when he won't disavow the remarks of communist Twitch streamer Hasan Piker, who has called for Muslim immigrants raping "white women" and supports the ethnic cleansing of the white race.

El-Sayed may be even more radical than New York City's election of Zohran Mamdani and the Nazi-tattoo sporting former Senate candidate Graham Platner.

Why are Democratic candidates engaging in this type of vitriol, when it has long been considered counter-productive to winning general elections?

First of all, the Democrat Party wants to change the demographics so that it no longer matters. They have been largely successful in certain House districts, such as in Michigan and Minnesota. It is quite unprecedented to see this kind of incendiary behavior in statewide races, as we are seeing in Michigan and in Maine.

Secondly, the left wants to institutionalize a system of racial discrimination against whites, religious discrimination against Christians, and gender discrimination against males. This seems to justify what they call, euphemistically, "equity": The cultural means to the socialist ends of wealth redistribution.

Politically speaking, this requires certain people to "hate" the left's targets. It used to be that Democrats championed the working class and incited them to "eat the rich." They have long ago moved beyond class warfare.

Now, the Democrat Party is importing Muslims and encouraging them to "hate" Christians. They are goading foreigners to "hate" Americans. That is one intended effect of the anti-ICE demonstrations.

Thus, the legacy media turn a blind eye to the left's "hate." Democrats frequently spout bile about Trump and his supporters, Christian conservatives, and white people. Yet they never get called out for "hate speech."

Here we have a Democrat Senate candidate saying point blank on video that Muslims "hate" Americans, and Democrat voters will not condemn him; indeed, many will come out to vote for him in November.

This isn't living in "Two Americas." This is America and an imported foreign culture clashing over domination. It's a recipe for cultural destruction, and that's exactly what the Democrat Party supports.
