NFL quarterback Aaron Rodgers came out of the gates slinging darts on The Pat McAfee Show on Monday.
When the ESPN host invited the firebrand on the show, he may not have expected the legendary football player to unleash a rant for the ages on Dr. Anthony Fauci.
McAfee opened up his line of questioning about a potential retirement, but Rodgers seized the opportunity to bash the disgraced doctor.

"Iâm gonna plead the Fifth," Rodgers quipped, "like that absolute coward Tony Fauci. Absolute coward. Are you kidding me? You get a pardon, and you pleaded over 100 times at the White House? What are you scared of, Tony? I thought you were the science. âI am science,â and you get up there and canât answer a question? What are we doing?"
"Spending the entire time writing in his diary about how fun it is to be famous. You gotta be kidding me," Rodgers continued. "What are you going to say about me now? Seriously, what are they going to say about me now? Now, you canât talk about the COVID stuff because obviously it was made in a lab in China. Thatâs like not even questionable anymore. Tony Fauci is an absolute criminal."

"Itâs been a great life and a great career, and itâs nice to be sitting on this side now, especially after that coward pled the Fifth over 100 times. I thought you had a pardon there, Tony. Why couldnât you answer one question the entire time?" he continued.
Then Rodgers took time out to take aim at ESPN, which airs The Pat McAfee Show.
"How much time did the network spend on that? How much time did they spend on my responses every week? On my vaccination status? On Taylorâs [Swift] and Travisâ [Kelce] wedding? Did they do even a minute on Tony Fauci? No, I bet they didnât," Rodgers said.
Rodgers was spot on there. The mainstream networks that once worshipped Fauci could not bring themselves to cover his damning diary.

Rodgers got some blowback at the time from the media after claiming he had been âimmunizedâ when asked whether he had received a COVID-19 vaccine.
He was later classified by the NFL as unvaccinated and tested positive for COVID-19 on Nov. 3, 2021, forcing him to miss a game against the Kansas City Chiefs.
Rodgers later explained that he had not received an mRNA vaccine because of an allergy to one of the ingredients and instead had pursued an alternative antibody treatment.
The NFL and NFL Players Association rejected his request to have that treatment recognized as equivalent to vaccination.
Rodgers later acknowledged that his use of the word âimmunizedâ had misled some people, though he maintained that he had not lied.

During Monday's interview, Rodgers brought up his recent reconciliation with his family following a lengthy estrangement.
"Iâm on good terms with my family â what are you going to say now?" Rodgers directed at ESPN.
As RedState's Nick Arama covered in this article about Philadelphia Eagles Head Coach Nick Fangio slamming Fauci, the "plead the Fifth" line has become an instant classic.
"What's the plan at safety?" Fangio was asked.
"I'm gonna be like Fauci and just take the Fifth Amendment on questions," he responded. "Did you guys see that? Oh my God. What was the question?"
No matter how hard ESPN tries, it's always going to be hard to rein in male athletes, especially when it comes to what goes into their own bodies.
Dr. Anthony Fauci misled the American people countless times over the COVID pandemic response. He should consider himself lucky that he is only taking shots from ESPN.
That is, unless the American people get a semblance of accountability and Dr. Fauci faces criminal charges in the next week.
