NFL star quarterback Josh Allen went viral after a video surfaced of him showing a sign of respect to our military with a kind gesture of removing his hat before shaking each one of their hands.
It happened outside the Buffalo Bills training camp when Allen took a few minutes to visit with fans, young and old, and sign autographs.
He’s a salt of the earth kind of guy! Have known him from the @ACChampionship !! And is in the hunt for a Super Bowl ring. #Bills https://t.co/j4tWJKlUgF

The video starts out with Allen signing books and jerseys before he comes upon four members of the military in uniform handing out their own items to be signed.

The Bills QB then stopped and removed the ball cap he was wearing. In one hand, he held his hat; with the other, he shook the hands of each of the military service members before stopping to sign each one of their items.
The video was shared by OutKick's Clay Travis, who wrote on X, "Josh Allen, signing autographs after practice, takes ball cap off to shake hands with military members in autograph line. Impossible not to love this guy."
At the time of this publication, the clip has been seen one million times and counting.
And if that wasn't just the greatest thing, check out this second video that surfaced of Allen noticing a girl crying after he left the greeting line. He then turned around and returned to the autograph line, bent down, and gave her a hug before proceeding to sign dozens more autographs.

But saw a young girl in tears because she had barely missed out on his signature.
He had to go back. Gave her a hug.
And then signed 30 more autographs. #Billsmafia pic.twitter.com/xlyBSLnSIP
Allen showing respect to the military and a little tenderness with the little ones, definitely one of the kinds of things that makes men great, in my mind. Not like the beta males, the legacy media, and those on the left have tried to claim men should aspire to.
For those who might not know, Allen was born and raised in California. However, unlike the leftist areas of San Francisco and Los Angeles, the Buffalo Bills star comes from a small farm town in California's Central Valley called Firebaugh, where people understand the importance of paying respect to the military and acting like a man should.
Allen's sweet gestures brought to mind the great first responders who greeted President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump during their recent visit to Texas following the tragic loss of life in the devastating floods.

As RedState reported, a video shared by the Rapid Response account for the Trump 47 White House showed President Trump and Melania, and Texas Governor Greg Abbot meeting with first responders near a giant pile of the destruction left by the floods.
In one clip, the President and Melania continue to shake hands with local firefighters as they thank them for their heroic efforts during the catastrophic flooding.

Some people even took notice of the simple gesture the firefighters made during the greeting line, which was taking off their hats or helmets before shaking the hand of Melania — a nice old-fashioned gesture of respect given to our First Lady.
It also brought to mind the story my RedState colleague Levon Satamian recently wrote of professional golfer Scottie Scheffler's comments before the 2025 British Open when his priorities were clearly in the right place.
"My faith and my family is what's most important to me … Golf is third in that order. ... I'd much rather be a great father than I would be a great golfer … if golf ever started affecting my home life … that's the last day that I play."
Could all this be linked to President Donald Trump winning in November? I can't exactly say that with 100 percent certainty. However, I do recognize that we are seeing America return to a sense of normalcy and embracing pride in our country. After the craziness of the last four years, it is incredible to witness and definitely what we voted for.
